Why even start with a RW if your RW is Chong?

Why not play Riedewald or Rothwell and start 3 CMs instead?

This is once again pathetic and inexcusable

If Wilder's aiming for another pay off he's going the right way about it

I said that things would turn sour and they are. This pathetic end to our season is tipping a lot of people into the Wilder out camp and understandably so

We should not be in this fucked up situation where so much hinges on one man. The only reason I still want him to stay is that he'll sort the squad out in the absence of any sort of leadership from above

But beyond that, it's bleak

If a so called Premier manager paid what most of us would think is a fortune with staff who are well paid and with decades of experience, can’t teach a set of defenders to block, follow the runners, get to the ball first and not give free headers then he and they are in the wrong job. If he can’t because the players are thick as mince, then his recruitment team can leave as well.

Will be interesting to see how many fans drift away over the next few years, people who were 12 when we went up 2018 /19 will be 19 to 20 year old next season and will be their real first taste of mid table mediocrity when they are at an age of other distractions
I was a bit optimistic predicting mid table mediocrity next season perhaps?

Missed the start (thankfully), but what I did see seems an even worse performance than that first half v Blackburn??

Yeah, it's end of season but your last home game in front of your fans and this is the turgid shite you produce!!!???

To absolve Wilder of any responsibility for the abject efforts over the last 9/10 games (bar Watford and maybe Hull but I didn't see that one) is crazy.

Seriously though, what do they practice from Monday to Friday? Or, or have the players given up?
Both, Wilder has been very vocal about a massive clear out. Those on the 'clear out'' list that are under contract have little incentive to put their neck on the line for a manager who doesn't want them

He'll sort the squad out ?
Wtf ?
He'll sign another Gbric , Cannon , Shackleton etc ?
Give me a feckin break.
The only thing he'll sort out is his payoff

I preferred our good first halves poor second halves to abysmal first and better second halves at least they have us hope

🔄 SUB 46' | ON: Burrows | OFF: Hjelde | Sheffield Utd 0-2 Preston

I understand people can have their own opinion on Wilder, but he’ll be the manager next season and he should have enough credit in the bank.

Sadly, this year we are a shit side. We wasted a golden opportunity after last seasons 92 points.

We got lucky that they course-corrected and that CW came back to us with the task of guiding us to safety - which he’s achieved. Like most Blades, I assumed we’d push ambitiously for playoffs, sadly we’ve languished.

Oh well, big summer ahead and fingers-crossed. Can’t wait to see the back-end of a few of these players…

🔄 SUB 54' | ON: Ings | OFF: Chong | Sheffield Utd 0-2 Preston

Is this even in doubt? Half the squad think they're better than our current position and some possibly should be. Gus is playing for himself, and Bamford, Campbell and O'Hare will surely be gone.

Much better second half. Like midweek.

That's not on anything other than the players attitudes imo especially today they've not changed things that much at half time.
