Go on Bill lad.

Always going to need to change it up in this period, Moose Vs tired legs a good option to have.

Wilder said we are a better team with Didsy in it. Moose is on fire......i no understand.
Rotation, we'll play more on the counter against Norwich away which is more of an ideal set up for Moose and McGoldrick, best to do a bit of rotation. Not a bad pair to come in IMO.

Would really liked a number 10 in if we're expecting them to park the bus and we got Billy and Oli upfront. Not sure who's gonna link midfield with those 2. Lots of long direct balls i imagine

I agree. This would have probably been a good opportunity to have Freeman starting in place of Fleck or Lundstram; but I’m sure Wilder will know what he’s doing.

Bruce puts his 40 m striker Joelinton on the bench in favour of the Caveman Carroll.
So park the bus and hoof it up to the caveman.

Lots of possession balls down the wings McBurnie and Sharp waiting for it .Sharp earns his living in the box he always seems to find the ball in a jammed up 6 yard box

Nothing against the front two, but my confidence of a win has just been dented.

Come on Sharp and McBurnie, prove my gut instincts wrong. We need an early goal to stop Bruce parking the bus.

Either Wilder is resting players ahead of the coming fixtures, or he thinks an aerial threat is the way to go about beating Newcastle and he feels they're weak defending crosses.

squad rotation

games coming thick and fast

mousset rarely does 90 minutes yet , keep him in the aisle waiting to pounce

It's Sint Nicholas here in the Netherlands, and I have my whole family sitting on the couch to watch Sheffield United :) We better put on a show :) UTB!

* SHOCK NEWS *

A Steve Bruce team parks 11 men behind the ball away from home.

Even with Mousset and McGoldrick up front we'd struggle. Set pieces will be pivotal. If Newcastle aren't going to come out and press for the ball, then the players need to run at them instead of trying to pass it through them. Draw some fouls.

It's going to be a long frustrating game unless we can somehow get an early goal from somewhere.

These commentators are doing my nut so Geordie biased.

Can see from this start that your bang on, defo need a Duffy or a McGoldrick in the hole.

We're not helping ourselves.

A few times now we've had a chance to hit them on the break and players send it backwards, giving Newcastle time to get everyone back. As soon as they get it forward again we're up against a wall of 11.

Wake up Blades, you need to be smarter than this.

Your pitchside analysts are Jermaine Jenas and Les Ferdinand, and your match commentator is Chris Waddle. But Amazon aren't biased towards Newcastle......at all.

Funny how differently we see things, we are completely dominating

We are dominating but the crosses coming into the box for McBurnie and Sharp have been gash. The majority have been knee height, all of Jack's have been awful. Fleck and Lundstram are not even in the game at the moment.

I expected Bruce to park the bus but I also expected Wilder to have a plan for it. We're too slow at the moment and giving them time to get players back. It's painful to watch.

The bias is unbearable. Worst I think I have ever heard.
Fortunately I found the option to mute the commentary. Unfortunately the crowd mic is clearly right next to the geordies.

Oh and it’s constantly buffering.
Amazon is shit.

I’ll leave the conspiracy of bias to the other lot, but this coverage has been abysmal. Everything is from Newcastle’s POV, what they’re doing wrong or right. Pig Waddle was even openly speculating how they can stop Norwood at one point.
