Fuckin' crowd was a big let down tonight. Crucial part of the season and they sit on their arses quiet as fuck! Are they frightened to get off their arses to vent their frustrations and egg on the players?

I think Coventry came to play and it was a decent open game IMO.

Most other teams arent as open and we struggle to break teams down.
If Hamer, BBD, Campbell, Rak Sakyi, O'Hare, cannot prise open the Championship defence of a mid table team, you have to ask why

This isn't a new thing, it has been going on all season, but without as much pressure we've usually managed to get a goal and then sit back hoping to hold on

Some of us who recognised that it will bite us on the arse eventually have been given dogs abuse for saying it

Not just as a response to tonight’s result but I do hope the new board have or are considering new management options. I will always admire Wilder for what he did for the club, but it feels like a bridge too far for him now. Whatever league we are in next season, he isn’t the right person to take us forward.

Anyone else get really frustrated with Burrows tonight? Looked like he couldn't be arsed half the time and had so much green grass in front of him... does he use it? Does he hell! Instead he persists on crossing the ball early to outside the box, rather than in the box!
That’s because he’s the most one footed player I’ve seen in many a season at the Lane. He’s so afraid to actually attack with his right foot that he has to play the ball inside to midfield. Apart from a purple patch mid season he’s been poor, in my opinion.

Are we allowed to call them bottlejobs yet? Or are people still going to defend this shit
But, but, we're top of the League

But, but we're second in the League

But, but we're third in the League

But, but we got to the playoffs

But, but, anyone would have snatched your hand off for the playoffs before the season started

Errrr, Ok, next season we go again, it's been a great season, in Wilder we trust, he's one of our own you know

Don’t want to watch it in the Prem if we get promoted either, if I’m honest I’d rather we get a new manager regardless of what league we’re in next season and see if the new owners actually have any ambition to get us to the next level
Exactly my thoughts. Its not worth going up with this style of football, or lack of, and perseverance without one for another season in the championship would be a wasted opportunity also IMO. Almost at the end of the season and the main pattern of play I can see is pass it across the back 4. Its a safety first Southgate style which is tedious to watch. Robinson, Anel and cooper probably have the most touches of our players. Far too reactive instead of proactive. What happened to wilders gutsy fearless play that got is up last time.

What the fuck has been in the tea since the Cov game?

This is it for me, even if we do make it up, I'm just not sure I have much confidence in Wilder to manage us in the Premier League

And can I also add that quite frankly it’s embarrassing that every throw gets left to Robinson to hurl it long
This tactic wrecks my head,we've never scored from one and yet everytime we get a throw on the left near the penalty area and alot of time's on the right we use it and inevitably the other team get possession back from us being in a good attacking position

Arguably not the best decision to bring on the 2 most toothless players in the squad up front when chasing a goal

That was the most pathetic attempt at chasing an equaliser in these circumstances I've ever seen

Burnley and Leeds are barely capable of losing a game like that. Certainly these 2 in a row. It's a pathetic effort from us. We are comfortably worse than both and don't deserve automatic promotion

Burnley's draw tonight lets us off the hook though

Doubtful, he’s just signed a new contract

Frustrating & awful to watch. Other bad performances but Burrows was fackin awful. Really poor with pretty much everything he did tonight. Bed soaked & Play offs here we come :(

Burrows hasn't had a good game for a long time. We shouldn't rely on him offensively so much. He is a paceless backwards and sideways merchant

The bit I don't get is he's seen where it wasn't working on Saturday., and given them all a second chance tonight.

Then we get a rinse and repeat performance, and he's done nothing again to change anything tactically, just thrown random subs on and hoped for something.

He's a pale shadow of Wilder 1.0

Have a like and a quote, absolutely spot in and what a few of us have been saying all season.

Back to back defeats , this time in the library of Bramall Lane.

We created much more than the Oxford game but some poor decisions and bad finishing meant we didn't overly trouble their keeper. While they missed the best chance of the game and had as equally good chances as us really.

We started decently then just let them into the game. Started better second half, pushed the fullbacks up, which worked, but we were playing kamikaze football with less than 60 minutes on the clock and should have been punished for it.

In fact, there difference between the teams is that they wanted it. Our idea of passion is having a brawl whilst theirs is busting a gut to get to the ball first. They wanted it more. They were determined to get to balls first. They were prepared to put their bodies on the line.

I'd like to know why we didn't have a right back on the bench, considering we were much shitter when he took Seriki off and went to a something at the back.

Cooper - 5 - Almost scored an own goal and his distribution was awful at times. Hopefully the Premier League scouts were there tonight in numbers.
Seriki - 6 - Some of out best play going forward first half, but his final product needs to improve. Defensively, not great.
Robinson - 5 - An accident waiting to happen on the ball. just hoofs it. Slow. Clumsy. Angry.
Anel - 5 - He's been good recently but he seemed to lose all sense of positioning at times.
Burrows - 6.5 - Kept going up and down. Kept trying to make things happen. MoM for me.
Choudhury - 5.5 - Clean and tidy and better when sitting in allowing Seriki to push up.
Peck - 5 - Does not take enough care with the ball. Balls he plays are just behind, or too slow. His shooting really needs to improve. He's energetic but slows the game down frequently with an extra touch or taking too much time on the ball.
Hamer - 5 - Just never involved enough and not enough end product. Too much wine, pudding and anger.
Brewster - 4.5 - Why is he starting? Why can't he shoot? So many shots off target.
BBD - 6 - Needs to do better with that header but he was our best attacking player first half. Slightly better game from him. Surprised to see him come off.
Campbell -5.5 - Mixed. Does some things really well and others quite poorly.

Subs:

JRS - 5.5 - Gets in positions but looks rusty, because he is.
Souza - 5 - Thought he looked unfit again. Not really being influential in the middle
COH - 5.5 - one who looks rusty, but again gets in the right positions
Canon - Had a decent shot on the turn and a couple of runs but is peripheral too often. Like he's on holiday and having a kick about with a group of lads he's never met.
Holding - 4.5 - We went to 3 at the back and looked wide open.

Wilder - 4 - Started with the same team which failed last time and they failed again. It was a bit better and we created more, especially at the start of both halves, but we're only creating half chances. We need to move the ball quicker. Take chances. Play it first time. One touch, but we rarely do. His subs made us worse. Starting Brewster is baffling. Has COH shagged his daughter?

Fans - 1 - I reckon 1000 schoolgirls at a women's game make more noise. They also probably don't leave before the end when there's one goal in it.

Absolutely, why the hell did the owners get giddy and give him a 4 year contract? He has taken them for a total ride due to their naivety!

His substitutions make fuck all difference. We were fucking all over the place no structure to our play again! players just running around like headless chickens. You won’t hear him moan about the 2 points deduction now. That was the same shit as Saturday. Great reaction 👍🏻
In fairness, they had an impact. They made us worse!

The issue is that they used to try things.

Hames and COH were playing first time balls, flicks, trying things. When JRS first arrived he'd get the ball and just run at defenders. They've all stopped doing that.

In fairness, I think he’s deserved some patience and commitment given the issues he’s had to deal with since the beginning of the season. That being said, I don’t think he’s got enough to drive us forward, even if we do manage to get promoted.

Fella, BBD was the worst player on the pitch and Burrows was awful. Apart from that, agree with you 🤣
