Not 100% sure you can blame Choudhury for the goal, although having him as a right back, shows how bad the squad build was.

We need to start trying to play through the 3rds, Arblaster has hardly touched the ball because the balls just going over his head.

Also no blame on the strikers, because the balls going up are garbage lumps being kicked up aimlessly.

Absolutely.

We’ve watched Choudhury get ripped to shreds each week and finally had a decent performance at right back when he was suspended. We have Baptiste, whose praises were sung all summer, playing centre half who is actually a centre half.

I don’t get the aversion to playing Tanganga at right back when he did fine there when a blind man can see Choudhury has struggled in every game he’s played there.

This is a good example of what I said earlier where, whether Chris likes it or not, the fans clearly have better judgment than him on this one; the only decent performance at right back was where the omission of his chosen option was enforced.

It seems he’s taken the option to double down back to 4-4-2, hoping the return of some of the injured players would get him out of jail.

Well, it’s not happening at all today.

Cannon has been poor. Brereton-Diaz is also in wretched form. Arblaster has barely touched the ball though that could be partially down to it sailing over his head half the time.

I’d be going 4-3-3, take Cannon and BBD off and bring on Peck and Donovan.

It’s been an insipid display and if the same XI emerges second half I’ll simply have no words…

What happened to promised front foot football? Getting the crowd up, really gripping a team who are fucking awful.
