Not bad
26 shots 24 from inside the box 6 clear
of 7th place Watford they have a game in hand.
3 back of Burnley and we have a game in hand.
Better GD+16, Burnley +14 next highest Norwich and QPR +6

That's interesting.

Anel does not often score for our national team. Actually, he doesn't go forward at all during the match. As far as I remember, only scored against Ukraine in Lviv.

Obviously, our coach hasn't realized his "hidden" talent.

Looks like Bosnia tend to play with 4 at the back with Anel one of the centre backs. Not sure Anel could go bombing forward in that position unless you change to 3 at the back and wingbacks

Wow, had to follow the wife to buy stuff for on-going house projects.

Me and the son sat on some boxes in the store and got to watch most of the match. Briliant performance and what a turnaround!

Well, well, well. Fantastic result. We had luck on our side but we powered past a startled Burnley in the end. They probably shared the first half. Slack defending for their first and awful mistake for the second. Never a corner for our goal. We came out second half and wrestled back control before pounding them with set pieces. Great result and it's always incredibly satisfying winning that way.

Wes - 8 - Thought he should have done more to put their player off on the second. Great handling all game, commanded his area well and made some decent saves.
Stevens - 6.5 - Mixed got forward well but had a torrid time first half against to their wide man. Got better and he'll only improve with match fitness.
Robinson - 6.5 - Poor for the first and awful for the second. Showed great character to come back stronger second half. Put a cross in for our 3rd and then kneed in the 4th.
Egan - 7 - Solid game. Gave their keeper a torrid time from throws
Anel 7.5 - calm finish for the goal and powerful header leading up to it. Dangerous all the time from set pieces. Bit uncertain at the back first half but improved.
Fury Road - 8.5 - Just misses out as man of the match but brilliant getting forward and stuck to his task defensively. He's a great outlet and showed great control and composure. Is there a quicker player across a pitch for a fight.
Osborn - 8 - thought he was out best midfielder. Great energy and covered so much ground. Involved in most things.
Norwood - 8 - Showed his passing range second half. Can really conduct play and pick a pass.
Fleck - 6 - Thought he was poor first half but grew into the game. Snapping into tackles again and looking determined.
Ndiaye - 7 - Looked sluggish first half but you can never right him off. Getting very good at being in the right place at the right time.
McBurnie - 9 - man of the match. Immense. A nuisance all game and involved in everything.

Subs

Basham - 6 - Came on and added some height and nous
Sharp - 5.5 - Ran around a bit

Hecky - 8 - no Doyle so had to improvise but worked out for us. Bit lucky but huge praise for what we did with set pieces to the management team. We've clearly seen how poor their keeper is and exploited it.

He is our secret weapon
Is tge difference between us being a good side and an outstanding side
What a player ,got any more like him ?

Now that making a big statement today.

Christ on a bike that was the best second half you'll see anywhere this season, well done lads, and when you consider the quality of the opposition that was fabulous, we're back utb
Yeah.
Burnley look a real good team most of the time, so it's a great win today in all ways.

i thought the 1st half was a good half. spoilt. by shocking closing down for the 1st goal, as it was 1 of the basics of football. if you give quality players time youll get punished. Jack Robinson has always got that mistake in him like Peterborough last season. but the zero to hero is becoming a theme recently

the 2nd half was outstanding. this might be the best ive seen us all season. unstoppable & destroying on paper what should be the best team to come to bramall lane. mcburnie a man transformed, he now looks like the 20m striker we bought 3 yrs ago

but from a entertainment POV, the best part of the match was that unlike Blackpool Birmingham & Norwich. there was none of this faking injuries & timewasting from either us or Burnley. just a good old game of football

A shocking defeat for a club on a 16 game unbeaten streak. Makes it even sweeter beating Burnley. Such a defeat should dent their confidence, home to Blackburn next.

Kompany what a twat, couldn't give us any credit
Thought similar. To suggest his team had run out of steam after their run of fixtures was odd. I didn't think they were all that bad, though. Even at 2-2 I wasn't feeling comfortable. But as soon as we piled it onto the keeper game was won. He is really awful.

Kompany might be a bit more open in his clubs own interviews rather than sky.

Were was the luck in that performance today ?

The reverse John Egan!

Looking back, with 5 midgets in their side I think we got stronger as the game went on and they got weaker.

We showed some true character today against a side who we know are no mugs

If we can beat Millers Tuesday, we go top
Get to the break, get the injured players back and it’s game on

This suggest we were not lucky today. Coulda shoulda been 5 1.
Enjoy it!
