First 20 minutes is key. Also Wilder needs to tell the players to be extra careful not to be sent off.

At 3-0 the game is over and a non event.
You can bet any 50/50 decision penalty decision or red card incident will go in their favour….to make it more of a contest.

If we get past the first 20 minutes at 0-0 or if we go 1-0 up then the Bristol City players will lose belief and the match becomes far easier.
I’m confident Wilder will have the players psyched up telling them the tie is not over yet….and we’ll need to work hard and be focussed.
I expect us to rest Hamer and Campbell….have them on the subs bench.

Don’t expect tonight to be pretty….think we’ll probably lose by 1 goal and maybe draw…..2nd half might be a non event with neither team fully trying.

City may not fully try second half if they’re drawing or winning at half time ?

Fast Show vibes here…..

If we play this smart we should win by a couple of goals. They will inevitably leave massive gaps at some point. A goal or 2 for us in the last 20 mins should be guaranteed

That’s nuts. It’s far from a done deal.
And that's quite defensive. If we weren't going to play 2 up top in the final I'd swap Canon for Davies. Dropping him into the front of a midfield triangle.

We will bottle it. Robinson/Anel will be sent off. It will go to penalties. We will lose. I don’t want to witness any more play off and other misery as I have done for 65 years. I hope all you wonderful shiny happy optimistic people enjoy it and feel free to criticise and slag off supporters who were there decades before you in the really dark days.
That's the spirit Shawy lad. Can always rely on you and your ilk to respond in a measured, well thought out way.

Evening, Anyone out near benahavis / Estepona know somehere decent showing the blades tonight. UTB 👍

Only changes are Brooks in for Brewster and Cannon in for Campbell ;-)

And Rak-Sakyi coming in for Oné on the bench.

Wonder who drops for Seriki and BBD?

Gilchrist for Seriki but BBD is fit, who drops out?

If we see Rak-Sakyi as fit and a potential starter then you’re dropping either Cannon or Brooks. Both start tonight.

I’d say Brooks is the most handy. He’s better defensively than Rak-Sakyi.

Not sure Wilder will drop Cannon but in terms of potential 10s and 9s, he’d have Moore, Campbell, O’Hare, Brewster and Brereton-Diaz. Not sure you absolutely need Cannon with that lot.

Having two wide players on the bench would be useful.

Unless he goes a bit left field and drops McCallum in the hope that Brooks can do his role if needed. Harsh but you want game changers in a final. Brooks, BBD ans Rak-Sakyi are more that than McCallum.

Shows we enter the play offs with depth for once.

Still let’s get this game won first!

Wish he had kept same starting lineup. Bang a couple in, then relax and shut the door. Why fuck about and change a team that was all over them? They couldn't cope with us in Brizzle.

its the old adage we've got to treat this as 0-0. the worry i have is we have recently the tendency to blow hot & cold. the last time i saw us play that well was v coventry & we then didnt turn up for the next 3 games. if we get the 1st goal tonight we can all relax. but im fully expecting an Bristol onslaught from kickoff

on the team weirdly i was only saying last week post blackburn. how cannon could be alot better with 2 up front. if he has someone else to do what he cant & hold it up & give him service

Priorities tonight....no injuries, don't lose, maybe lose by 1 goal...maybe. nobody gets hurt, no one comes off with an injury, no substitutions for an injury, no injuring each other....think that covers the priorities!!!

Think City will press, as they have to, and snatch a lead. Then us to wake up and settle the game.

2-1 Blades.
