Commentators on NBC said "mild calf strain" for Enda, which is fairly promising. And he was sat on the bench in the 2nd half

He's got 2 weeks off at least, Osborn usually plays in the cup anyway.

Just switched off for 2 minutes which we always seem to do when going ahead. Brighton offered nothing but put everything in the way. 1-0 would have been fair. Suppose a point isn’t bad.

Frustrating that, but we’re up to 40 and I was pretty impressed with Osborne in his first real test as cover for Enda, upset with a point that takes us up to 40 whilst still in Feb ... what a time to be a Blade

What a time to be a Blade!

On a day when we reach 40 points after an excellent performance most of us are disappointed.

I wouldn't like to see it from us but if we were more cynical regarding falling when fouled, I think we'd have seen a lot more frees for us in advanced positions and possibly a penalty or a Brighton red card.

Edit... You beat me to that sentiment Tommy!

Unfortunately when we play non footballing teams such as Newcastle and Brighton it's gonna be a frustrating afternoon. Gamesmanship, ten men behind the ball, naughty challenges, pot shots etc is what we have to endure from these teams. It's hard to break down. Bournemouth tried it last week but we managed to overcome. Unfortunately this week we couldn't quite manage it.
McBurnie was immense again today by the way! ... As they all were.
Oh and what a goal that was from Enda! Top drawer!
On to the next! UTB

I think Berge will be a success but he switched off today for Maupay's goal.

Having said that. He grew into the game. His composure on the ball is great. Just glides away from danger.

Brighton called us anti - football before the game too. They did they had to do. A few more Houghton type performances will keep them up so not criticising Potter at all but I was chuckling at how the Brighton fans described us and how they played.

We definitely need to work on the everyone behind the ball sides though. I imagine we didn't expect to come up against it much this season but the secret is out: We are actually good.

Yes it's unreal how delusional these teams and their fans are. Don't blame them like you said cos they're in a relegation scrap... But good lord they are woeful! Bring back Houghton all is forgiven!

It's hard breaking these teams down when they dig in like that. I've seen better teams struggle to do so. Having said that I was crying out for more direct attacks and shots from range... We scored our goal doing exactly that!

it is disappointing to only get a point from that, because i think thats the best team performance & most creative offensively for a long while. maybe the best since aston villa in mid December. feels like we are back to our best

Brighton had 2 moments in the 90 scored 1. but as we know very well you dont get what you deserve in football, grinded out a win v Bournemouth but played fantastic get a point v Brighton so we deserved 4 points out of 6 & we have got 4. but still in touch with our rivals

Thankyou Brighton for contributing one tenth of our points so far this season. Much appreciated.
