That works well. I bought the 85+ minute mini ticket that was left over.
I can't be arsed watching most of the game. Prefer to bet on my phone, stand on the concourse and loiter in the traps - sniff sniff.

It really shouldn't be.

The boys went toe to toe with a pretty strong City squad and walked away with a respectable score that even some prem teams would take. They were well received on the worlds stage, the fans from what I could tell didn't seem disappointed, we were all still singing and chanting on the long descent down the Wembley stairs.

If anything they should be feeling confident that they could somewhat hold their own against arguably the best team in the world and minus the top 6, possibly be competitive in the lower 10s. As far as I'm concerned, with a promotion place to secure tomorrow they should be well fucking up for it. Play their hearts out tomorrow and who gives a fuck if they lose the 3 after because I know I wouldn't.

Fun fact: we have lost 6 FA Cup semi finals since the War. On the previous 5 occasions, we were at home in the game after we lost, as we are this time around, and we are unbeaten in those games.

1961 - 1-1 v Liverpool
1993 - 2-1 v Leeds
1998 - 1-0 v Middlesbrough
2003 - 1-0 v Forest
2014 - 1-0 v Stevenage

FWIW we also won the game after we lost the 2 league cup semi finals (2002-3, 4-3 v Ipswich, 2014-5, 2-0 v Swindon).

The last time we won a semi final, in 1936, we lost the next league game, at home to Fulham, who we had beaten in the semi final.

Had a dream last night.

We were playing Boro, not West Brom, went 1-0 up. Then Mcatee scored from a position where he was about 20 yards on side, but the ref claimed cos the ball bounced enroute to him getting on the end of it was a rule that made him offside.
Then we conceded twice. Next thing you know, Phil Jagielka is booting some fella in leg and getting sent off. We're also playing with Heung Min Son who gets himself sent off.
Ref then also decides because we're down to 9 men we have to forfeit the game.


Feel like one of the doom mongers on here has got inside my head. Pretty sure that won't happen tonight though lads. Although I'd start worrying if Boro's coach showed up.
