Tim Robinson (the referee) he hasn't reffed a single game of ours this season but has reffed Blackburn 5 times including their 2-1 win in the last round at Leicester,he'll be on first name terms with their players.
Anything controversial happen for or against them?

Great FA Cup Moments #1.

Our recent 1925 winners 😉

Didn't realise Mark Duffy (back row, centre) was playing for us way back then. 🤣

Come on you Blades!
Promotion to the top flight, FA Cup Winners and first ever qualification for Europe in the most bizzarely underwhelming and inconsistent season ever!!! Why not???
It was only for the over 50's in those days.. Some of their faces reflect how hard times were 100 years ago !

Looks like there’s still plenty of tickets available. Anyone checked how many sold?

The words straws,at, grabbing spring to mind.

No player would give up the chance of playing at Wembley.
Wembley appearances have been devalued since they started playing the semi-finals there. I've seen us play at Wembley numerous times before, including two FA Cup semis, and we've lost them all, so wouldn't be too fussed about seeing us play there again (mainly due to the cost).

I'd go to the final if we made it but it's a shame that nowadays the losers get nothing. Previously there was the 'consolation prize' of a place in Europe for the losers, if the winners qualified for Europe via their league position or winning the League Cup. It gave teams that would normally have no chance of playing in Europe the chance to have a crack at it (Millwall and Hull for example).

The final year of this system was the year we played Hull in the FA Cup semi. If we'd beaten Hull we'd have qualified for Europe even if we lost to Arsenal in the final. In the end Hull got into Europe.

We are surely the biggest club in Europe to have never qualified for a European competition. We've only played the odd friendly and invitational tournament. Unfortunately it looks like we never will in my lifetime

Not only VAR, but in the hands of Paul "I can see it's a yard over the line but as a cheating cunt I'll keep quiet" Tierney to boot.
Also responsible for handing Arsenal the decisive pelanty from a blatant dive in the Covid Quarter Final.

Would it be bad taste to hope he has an horrific accident prior to Sunday? Nah, fuck him.

..............apart for this year , its happening brother - i can feel it in mi watter

Interesting problem to have but should we get to the final and be promoted automatically there'll be a 4 week break between last day of season and fa cup final.

Obviously we'll be well rested and injury free but out of competitive match practice.

Maybe we need to drop to 3rd and win the playoffs to keep match fit 😊

I can live with that.

Yes, loads left
I knew there was loads left when I received an email entitled "Last few tickets remaining" from the club

The contrast in excitement levels for an FA Cup QF between this one and the Charlton game a few years ago is unbelievable

Uniteds recent performances have bored everybody so shitless that when people have to physically make a tiny effort to buy a ticket, they can't be arsed.

Doesn't bode well for next season if we don't get promoted

Oh dear - this I’m afraid

I’ve been going through the turnstile since 27 September 1970 ,had a ST since 1975 and my 2 kids had one too until they developed an ability to make their own choices.

I have said to my group of friends who go to the match together that if utd don’t go up ,I won’t be going again . And I mean it .

I haven’t attended any of the cup games and won’t be going tomorrow because I refuse to give them any more of my money . And I can, thankfully, afford to go so I’m one of the lucky ones .

Reason?

Don’t like the football we play , which seems crazy considering the pile of crap we have turned out over the years - I find it so frustrating and beyond belief that we have been hanging on in so many games .

Joint firstly

The ownership and running of the club . How we have been allowed to enter into an embargo after being in the prem 2 years ago , and for 2 years ,is beyond me - how that impacted on us not being able to strengthen the squad to take us over the line when we had such a lead is criminal and unacceptable leadership to me . How this behaviour and mindset can be remotely justified considering the security that could be achieved through promotion is beyond belief and demonstrates a complete lack of interest and consideration for so many loyal people who’s heartbeat is following the club .

Hecky to be fair has done a good job and deserves my support which I continue to give when I go - which is to every home league game .

So

Add the above together and that’s why I for one will not go again

Play the first team and go for the win

What is the point of football anymore if you don't put your best team out and try and win an fa cup quarter final
Agree

All this give everyone a game bullshit

It's just nice going into a game
Without the ludicrously high levels of stress and anxiety of the league
I honestly don't think I've ever found it such a physical and mental roller coaster watching the blades as it has been this season and I'm seriously worried its going to finish me off
See my post above

That is my worry and I’m not taking the piss

Look I'm.not saying we should rest anyone in fact I.hope we don't and go for it

But the pressure is definitely off for this and I'd almost forgotten what it feels like to be a normal football fan
