Is this new news? I thought his contract was up in the summer and would be one of those that could automatically extend if the required games were triggered.

Forget Blade ...................Forget Blade.
Forget BladeyBlade. A myth perpetuated by a certain individual who simply can’t accept that 80 odd goals in 4 seasons is a “coincidence” of being party to a good set of lads behind him. Nothing more than blind, ignorant, clap trap to accentuate a point that has been, beyond ANY doubt, borne of Agenda driven hogwash. From day 1. (I beg of you to challenge this to the contrary. Pretty please in fact).
Forget, if it is even possible, that his Peers as recently as this week selected him as the very best, consistently, and without the baggage of clap trap described as above, among the top 2 players of his type in the championship in the last decade. So no 1 season wonder here (as if it needs spelling out).
Forget in fact, the sentimental stance that has primarily been adopted across the masses that the man should. bluntly, slip quietly / permanently in to a playing retirement of one description or another.
The man, the myth, the legend, still has a job of work to do on the green green stuff.
If that makes me the unsilent minority, so be it.
My informed ( go fuck yourself if you think otherwise) opinion is that we would now have MORE points on the board if our main man had been afforded a more representative opportunity at doing what he does best.
There is absolutely nothing that could convince me to the contrary.
Don’t bother trying.
UP THE BLADES.
I've been pondering this one for a while. Sir William of Sharp is a legend of course, but at the same time, for the good of the team, others are playing ahead of him. In my opinion, rightly so. In my view, he has looked off the pace in the few games he has played this season. I think what we have is working, and Billy may not play much, so its interesting to hear a report on facebook from the blades that neither Wilder or Billy want him to leave at present. He certainly will be a great member of the dressing room, but i'm yet to be convinced that he will score at the highest level at 33. Very happy to be wrong of course.

The header against Man. City was exceptional. Can't believe he was so unlucky.
Other than already scoring at the highest level? Unless VAR have gone back overturned his goal against Bournemouth?
Of course he has scored 1, apologies for not putting in 'regularly'.
Its not all about goals, as Didsy hasnt scored yet (aside from one awful VAR call v Tottenham). Didsy just looks more at home in the prem so far, his overall game has
been excellent. Im not sure Bill can do the same. Again I would be delighted to be wrong.

There are NO key, measurable and meaningful statistics that can prove, beyond even a reasonable doubt, that Sharp can not, does not or will not cut the mustard at this level.
None. Nada.
In direct comparison to others at the club, bizarrely in front of him in the current pecking order, the case becomes even more compelling.
I challenge anyone to provide evidence to the contrary.

I don’t think he will do now, from what Wilder has saidAnd what percentage of Billy’s £25k a week pay packet will Doncaster be paying?
Defo. A few years under CW and he would be a perfect replacement if Chris decided to move on.Not saying sharp should retire, or that he's anywhere close to hanging up his boots. But when that time comes, would you take him as a coach?
Personally I would, think he bleeds red and white, would he a fantastic mentor to any forward with an abundance of knowledge. Discuss?
