If you was Wilder how would you approach this game?

If I was him, I would pretend the score is 0-0 and take the game to them still, don’t sit back and definitely don’t go into a back 5 for christ sake!

Also Blades fans, would you agree to drop Peck to the bench and rest him for the final?

Only because he’s on a yellow card and if he gets another yellow card on Monday then he will be suspended for the final which would be a huge loss. We can’t risk that.

Souza and Choudhury in midfield for me and Gilchrist right back

0-0 go full blood and thunder like Thursday night - which is what he will do.

Play peck, we have Davies & holding for final hopefully (if we get through).

Think he’ll mix the team up a bit, maybe start Cannon and Holding…maybe even Davies depending on fitness.

Bristol City have got to try to score 1 or more goals earlyish which will suit our style of hitting teams on the break.

Wilder is so up for this he wont let anybody get complacent.

If we get an early goal the game is over so go get that early goal take it easy and don't pick up any injuries in the rest of the game. I doubt Brizzle will score 3 never mind 4-5 they have one player suspended and another injured, no bookie would give them much chance of going through unless a Chinese betting ring gets involved.

Start with the same team and attack from the off. Try to get an early goal and effectively kill off the tie.

If still in firm control at HT, bring off Campbell, Hamer, one of Peck or Souza and Robinson ASAP in order to give as many minutes to Cannon, Diaz or JRS, T.Davies and Holding.

But whichever way he plays it, there really are no excuses from this stage.

All we've got to do is score 1, maybe 2 goals which should be enough to get us through.

O'Leary looked like he was carrying some sort of knock, especially after that Peck save in the 1st half, he looked quite slow to react after that.

He wasn't the only one, quite a few of their players looked knackered around 70/75 mins and they don't have much depth.

Wouldn't be surprised if he changed Robbo for Holding, not sure why he'd bring him off late if he didn't have a knock.

Would expect BBD, JRS, Cannon, Davies and maybe Gilchrist to get some minutes as well, not sure if all of them will start though.

It has been mentioned quite a few times in other threads that two yellow cards in the play offs will not mean suspension for the final. It looks like you only read your own threads!

as been said, if Bristol city get a early goal, it's game on, there will be alot of nervousness. & we don't have to look too far across the city where Peterborough were booking coaches to wembley at 4-0 up.

we need to ride out the storm of the 1st 15 mins & if we get the 1st goal, we should knock any fight out of them

Start with the same team as away leg. Good to keep the same rhythm ready for the final. Get a couple of goals, they couldn't handle Keiffer up front. He may not score many but he rattles their defence. Then foot off the gas 2nd half. Lock up and try and get another couple on the break. No risk 2nd half.

For me the team needs to be the best we have at holding the ball, Holding and OHare to start, they need to sooner or later have a go at us, play with composure and play keep ball and hit them on the break.

As others have said an early goal for BC it's game on. They prob have to come out attacking, which we can be good at combating and taking advantage of.

I'd like an early goal to put the tie to bed.

But even if BC score 1st I'd have thought 1 goal after for us knocks stuffing out of them.

Ideally we get the 1st goal early on and say its game done.

We showed Thurs we have the quality to score against them.

They struggled to handle Moore, both physically and ariely. Campbell looked good running off Moore.

Maybe start O'Hare or Davies as they'll be gaps for them to expose with the probable approach from the Robins.

I think he'll make a number of changes and I think we'll see Cannon start.
It should play into our hands because they will have to come at us from the off which should suit us and they will leave gaps which we can exploit. I think we'll score and I can't see them scoring 4, although I'm not saying we'll win, probably a draw I reckon.

I'm not sure Brizzle will dare go full tilt from kickoff as if they concede it's game over. Maybe they'll ramp up as the game goes on.
We don't need to do anything extreme, neither sitting in or going full tilt. Just play our game and we'll win.

Get the Lane rocking, the fans need to do their part, make it intimidating, get at them from the first whistle. An early goal for us will all but kill the game off for them. Do not sit back and let them come on to us.

COYRAWW!!!!!
