Second-leg Approach

BC would likely need 4 more matches to score 4. Defend properly as we have all season, play on the counter as we were in the 1st half on Monday. No reason to treat it any differently to a normal game

Technically they might only need to score three, but I agree in principle.

If you was Wilder how would you approach this game?

If I was him, I would pretend the score is 0-0 and take the game to them still, don’t sit back and definitely don’t go into a back 5 for christ sake!

Also Blades fans, would you agree to drop Peck to the bench and rest him for the final?

Only because he’s on a yellow card and if he gets another yellow card on Monday then he will be suspended for the final which would be a huge loss. We can’t risk that.

Souza and Choudhury in midfield for me and Gilchrist right back
Same has first leg. Same side, stick it on Moores head, get the ball, don't let them have it back

No need to drop Peck.

4-2-3-1, pacy wingers to keep their defense pressed back (Brooks on the left, O'Hare on the right). Holding to shore up at the back. Job done.

Play their game also of a fast end-to-end game and we'll be fine and score a few IMO. We've got the depth to replace quality with quality when legs tire.

Cooper
Gilchrist Anel Holding Burrows
Souza Peck
Brooks O'Hare Hamer
Moore

Go for a reliable structure like that to minimise the possibility of any disaster. Get after them and treat it like it's 0-0. Don't just concede possession and try to counter. Save that for the last 30 mins or so with quicker attackers on. Give JRS and BBD a fair chance to stake a claim to start. Hopefully Seriki too. Take off Souza and Hamer as soon as it's safe to do so. Avoid injury and suspension risks. And think about playing a back 3 for a decent chunk of the game as possible preparation for the final

The squad is looking so strong I’d definitely rotate. That freshness can’t be underestimated against a side that doesn’t have the same luxury. The likes of Brooks, Davies, O’Hare, Holding and possibly Seriki all starting with Choudhury, Peck & Moore shoring things up in the second half to see us through to Wembley.
