Sean Dyche

It’s always been the case with Dyche. Think the job he’s done is brilliant, one of the best managers in the league for me. But he doesn’t half whinge and moan about referees and decisions going against him. Almost Warnock-esque to be honest and it’s embarrassing at times.

He’s a mardy bastard, just like Ashley Barnes was on the pitch yesterday. Fully respect the job he’s done at Burnley, but I can’t stand hearing his interviews after they’ve lost as he loves moaning about officials, not quite as bad as Mark Hughes but getting there.

I don’t mind him but if you go on record every week about diving and tell your players not to then you can’t moan about not getting pens for slight contact.

I lost quite a bit of respect for him after his post-match comments yesterday. I found his VAR comments bizarre, and I'd like to think that Wilder would point fingers at his own players before the officials, as he does whenever we lose (and sometimes even when we win)!

The two penalty shouts were pretty optimistic and probably would only be given for Liverpool and man utd but they play to different rules to the rest of us don't they ?

I think if it was us Chris would have said it pretty much the same, possibly two pens but the best team won, I don't see much to find fault with to be honest

That's basically suicide.

They have had a difficult season but they have a very winnable set of fixtures that Dyche could have negotiated them through.

Good time to play West Ham too under Dyche, not stick some unknown U23 bloke in charge to waste a key game while you search for a new manager.

Food for thought for those who like to have a pop at the Prince. This was the other option.

They will now gravitate to their natural level just like Bolton, Blackburn and Wigan did.

Ridiculous decision, he wont struggle to get another job...and probably at a club with more potential than Burnley !

I was chatting to some mates a few weeks ago, and we all said the same. Once these small clubs drop out of the top flight, it is going to be much, much harder to get back.

Why would you give the job of staving off relegation from the premier league to a man who has never staved off relegation from the premier league?
Well, they've just taken the job of staving off relegation from the premier league away from a man who is superb at staving off relegation from the premier league... maybe it's Opposite Day in east Lancashire.

Shows the football intelligence of the American consortium that took them over. You know the one that no bigger blade than me ( McCabe ) had lined up for us.

Did an incredible job there really.
Be interesting to see how he does somewhere else.
If we were in need of a manager I'd deffo want him. Yes it can be a bit direct but he's worked wonders really.
