Honestly, I’ve no idea why they love him so much.

His tactics are mid table, you look at managers that have carried teams up or beyond their expectations - Wilder 2019, Rob Edwards, Kieran McKenna, Mark Robins, Daniel Farke, Slavisa Jokanovic (Fulham), Kompany/ Carrick (2022) all managers that had their teams playing football we were in awe of or playing effective winning football.

I don’t see that from Wednesday at all they’re bang average mid table team. We were shite today and that’s why the score line was close.

Also took off Johnson and Windass who were probably their biggest goal threats.

He’s beloved because he’s not terrible. The only manager they’ve had that wasn’t completely crap since Carvahal is Darren Moore, and he was average. He’s a decent tactician and they can be invested in the “project” that Wednesday are selling to their fans (which will be shattered when he leaves or is sacked after 5 or 6 bad games).

Just walked the dog past my old house. It was 4 Pig Fan houses and mine in a little cluster. Said "fuck off" and laughed to each of the 4 houses individually.

In fairness to him he put him on against Anel and he had some joy, Wilder brought Robinson on and Souttar marked Smith, then he won nothing for the remainder of the game.

To be fair to Rohl he took over last season when they looked certain to go back to L1 and got them out of it. He is probably the best manager they have had results wise after a long line of crap who were all sacked by Chancer. I dont know what his budget is for transfers and wages but it will be a lot less than ours with parachutes. Took Warnick a few seasons to turn things around and rebuild us back to the Prem. He probably has to play hoof ball with what hes got. Suspect Chancer will sack him sooner or later. Hope so as dont think they'll find anyone better.

Since they beat Plymouth in the first game of the season to supposedly get automatic promotion, after which Rooney was ridiculed and has never stopped being criticized, and Röhl gets praise every week from all pundits….

They have since scored less points than Plymouth, scored less goals, and conceded more goals

He’s really not that good.
