Surely United aren't spending £75k per week on Godfrey? Heard a rumour that is what his salary at Atalanta was, but cannot see us footing all the bill

For where? The middle? Arblaster/Peck and Jairo/Soumare cover that. That's with sending Matos/Shackleton out whilst only relying on Davies to make guest appearances.

We dont know that, it sounds like the Soumare one might be difficult, but Villa will want players like Barry to be playing. Its in their best interests as well.

Wouldnt be shocked if we are paying most of his wage, but negotiated not paying a loan fee or any bonuses if he gets us promoted...

£3.5m for a season of an England international with PL and Series A experience who can play two or three positions - seems excessive but not ridiculous. What's ridiculous is the utter shower of shite that's shown up!
