The fans are frigging mental. To be fair, the odd one are coherent and apologise for the madness of the rest of them

Very solid since he's been here. Would still prefer Jimmy Dunne in summer, but wouldn't be against Hamza for the right price.

He was our man of the match. Thought him and Brewster on the right looked solid defensively and seemed to cause a threat.

Then the tracksuits to took Brewster off and the rest is history....
Don’t think Brooks for Brewster was the issue. The issue was taking the second striker off and expecting Moore to start using his feet. I like O’Hare but he’s a totally different player to Campbell.

Despite his energy, thought Brooks gave the ball away for too easily(as did most of them second half) which was the major difference.

You're right the o'Hare/Moore combo never looked great in the first half of the season, so why we defaulted to it today is baffling.

It really is like he's managing an Under 9's team and he's promised game time to some of the parents. There was no reason at all for BBD or Brooks to see the pitch today.

BBD neshing that tackle and getting hurt was ridiculous. Particularly as it came after a dreadful touch.

There was no reason to change it after 65 minutes. We were fine. I still think Brooks for Brewster (who had just been booked) wasn’t the worst change but it should have been at 75/80 mins when we’d let Sunderland punch themselves out.

Brewster protected him today, Brooks not so much. His optional buy price is £5m, we can use that money elsewhere.

We'll to disagree amicably on that one, because as much Chaudhery was our best player, i thought Brewster wasn't far behind him. Thought it was his best game in a long time but Wilder had it in his head Brewster was coming off.

Peck was overawed today and Tom Davies for him at 65 mins would have been a much more fluid change and reacting to what was happening.

But BBD has been awful since returning and seeing him get a run out today was absolutely baffling. For starters he's not played for over a month....

Choudary was excellent today in my opinion.

The game was literally crying out for Tom Davies.

Called it after 20 mins. Pecks game is based on an explosive first movement which buys him the time/space and today he looked slow/heavy/confused/nervous. Meant he never bought himself that half a yard and as result kept getting caught in possessions and giving the ball away.

A more proactive manager sees this and changes it....

Completely agree. I get Davies has been injured but he’s looked class whenever I have seen him. When we clearly needed composure and experience in the middle of the park, Davies should have been brought on.

As their manager pivoted to having midfield runners, bringing on O Hare and Davies with Canon on to replace Moore to replicate their system and stretch them would have been a more imaginative shift rather than bringing his mates on for a kick about....

I said it before today, Campbell and O'Hare link up really well and suggested starting Cannon and Moore and bringing on Campbell and O'Hare together as subs in the second half. Splitting them up made us weaker. Sunderland did see more down the right side after Brewster went off.
