Nice little bit of extra money coming
Depends on what was agreed - if it was performance related, they would generally be triggered by a sale. If is was sell-on related, Utd will receive a % of profit made on the transaction (not the full sale price) e.g. 10% on £7m (£20m sale price minus £13m purchase price) = £700k. Not to be sniffed at but also not the fortunes some seem to think

Always thought he'd end up at Arsenal, he's good enough and would thrive under Arteta

I don't get why he wouldn't. Some of our fans would be outraged if someone refused to celebrate against their old team after scoring for us.

Billy Sharp went nuts scoring against us for Donny.

I agree. It's just that someone said that Deano didn't celebrate when he scored against us (I posted the video to show that he did).

Fulham play some good football and will suit Berge down to the ground in that respect, he’s no Paulinha though and that’s a huge gap to be filled by someone who is very good on the ball but not very good in the tackling department, that was where Paulinha really blossomed. Fulham are yet to plug that gap.
We played good football till he came to lane, end off.

Ahh when i first started with my ST 😍 We could hit a decent shot on target them days!

Good business for Burnley. Only had him a short time and made a tidy profit.
Yeah very smart. They'll have known that he’d run his contract down and they’ll lose money on him as he searches for a better deal on a free, so move him now for a profit

In fairness, I think we got our monies worth out of him too.

Bought him for £20m & sold him for approx. £15m inc. the add-ons. Had a major contribution towards our promotion back to the PL which seems to have saved the club financially.

Good move for Berge and at a good price. I would suggest that he'd have moved on from us for £25m in the summer of 2021 had he not been recovering from that horrendous injury sustained against Manchester.

I think this is the contract now that determines his career path, he could push on and get a move to one of the top clubs in Europe, could be pretty decent and be someone who plays in top leagues but never at top or he could end up back in Belgium or similar etc etc

Yeah get all that but still better than nothing and might help us keep on top of bills🙈
