Who’s to say as part of the deal to bring him in Chris didn’t offer him a guarantee on match minutes, They did everything they could to get this one done and over the line.
Only CWAK knows how we’re going to be setting up next season, they wanted him bad and up to speed for a reason, wether you like him or not it doesn’t matter as he starts regardless of what we all think. Live with it or stop paying your money.
personally I like him, In fact I like all our players and how they are plying their trade and even more so I like our manager and his assistant and trust them to know more about their players and how they click than I ever will. If I did know more then maybe he should be the Joiner and I should be the SUFC manager.....

In which case let's shut down this forum and never talk about football then.

You don't need to be a 5* qualified chef to say that a meal is awful.

I'm not saying that Berge is by the way before it gets misinterpreted. Tbf I think we are all suffering withdrawal symptoms by not having a game to look forward to this weekend, I know I am!

Until we next play I think this thread has run it's course.

I’m struggling to see any support for your point, so yes? 😂
And as you've got a couple agreeing with your opinion, that's everyone is it??
So obviously I best renew my ST where your seat is, as it seems to have a better view of the game than where I sit.
Where should I be looking then?

I’m losing brain cells talking to you

Don't then, I'm guessing your avoiding the seat question, as your not regular at the games, and probably wasn't even at the game, which makes sense.

Looked right off with some of his passing tonight, but got himself out of a hole with athleticism so meh, break even I guess

Looked very good on the ball but I don’t think he’ll ever be a Hollywood player like Norwood does with his pings/switches of play.

Think berge May suit a 2 man midfield/pivot.

No doubt there’s a great player in there but we can’t sacrifice the way we play to just stick him in.

If it’s between him and lundstram then it would be lunstram I’d even say that Luke freeman deserves a shot in the RCM midfield position so what if he isn’t Left footed he is by far one the most technical players we’ve got

Sloppy in places, but so were most of the team. I actually thought he did well tonight.

Looked more comfortable in that role. But yeah, some sloppy errors and seemed to tire quickly. But not alone in that, was a poor performance all round tonight but at least the job’s done.

He will be the embodiment of what Wilder is all about.

This guy is a champions league footballer, who has looked good in champions league games. This is not a gamble of a footballer, this is a properly talented boy that has not adjusted to our game yet. Just look at what Wilder has done with some of his signings: Fleck, Norwood, Baldock, Stevens, McBurnie etc and the vast improvements they have made (all of which bar Norwood looked like nobodies at the beginning)

I think Berge has been very average in every performance so far, below average in some cases. However, give him a year under our phenomenal manager and this guy will be a monster of a player.

Luke Freeman deserves a game Saturday.

I don’t think he suits the flat 3 midfield, I think he’d look far better in last season’s system with a man behind the front two.

I thought he did ok tonight but was totally knackered by 80 minutes hence a couple of late mistakes. It’ll come good for him. Baffled why Besic wasn’t in the squad unless he’s injured.

Lunny did nowt tonight to win the shirt back for me, look disinterested.

Great post. Respect.

Berge is hard to knock off the ball, like TC.
Ghosts into scoring positions, like Martin Peters did. Isn't given the ball.
Bergen Blade has it about right.
SB is going to be a legend for us.

Legend ...what are you bouncing on about ..

We don’t know yet whether he will be a good player a top player or a top top player ....never mind legend ..

If he’s pulling trees up for 5 years plus then let’s start talking those type of words yes ...not before ...

Won't take a year... He'll be carrying that ball and turning defence into attack before you know it! UTB

Very slovenly. Needs to tighten the fuck up and look more urgent on the ball.

We had our Berge at the club all along - Basham! If Berge wants to progress, he'll do well to study the Geordie Beckenbauer.
