How will he push it through if Liverpool don't meet our valuation? I accept that Liverpool, AC Milan, Arsenal etc will be hugely attractive to any player, but those clubs still need to meet the asking price.

If they don't and Sander decides to start acting up, then he will end up losing out as we have ample options in AM positions now, so he risks being benched and watching his attractiveness to other clubs decline.

MGW is only worth that because Wolves had a desperate, wealthy buyer who had made him their number one target. If there’s no Forest interest, he’s worth much less. For now it seems to be the case with Sander that lots of teams are interested, but they’re either not exactly rich (Club Brugge) or could probably take or leave him (Prem clubs). The main question is whether any club can meet this release clause.

"Worth" isn't a thing. It's all about leverage. Forest made it clear they had to have MGW so Wolves were in charge

Honestly don’t see him leaving unless his release fee is met now. Sell him on the cheap (£25m+) or keep him and win promotion (£150m+). Those are the kind of numbers the Prince likes to see.

The crunch point now, will come down to numbers and the interests of the board. As has been hinted, take the highest bid (his remaining value in terms of remaining contract time) now or chance your hand and hope that promotion brings you in a shed load more.
