So early in the season for twat post of the year...Fleck & Norwood should be done full stop. They are both stealing a wage.

Unfortunately, I believe this to be true.IF Liverpool were to come in for him then the player will decide and probably push it through all of this release clause business will be futile.

MGW is only worth that because Wolves had a desperate, wealthy buyer who had made him their number one target. If there’s no Forest interest, he’s worth much less. For now it seems to be the case with Sander that lots of teams are interested, but they’re either not exactly rich (Club Brugge) or could probably take or leave him (Prem clubs). The main question is whether any club can meet this release clause. If, in today’s market, MGW is worth £40m plus, Sander Berge is actually good value for money at £35m……and not a penny less![]()
Really didn’t need a “source inside the club” for that. He’s going but only if a top bid comes in and it’s accepted. No shitGood source tonight from inside the club, he's going - just waiting for the top bid to roll in. Unlikely to meet the release fee. Berge more than happy to keep playing until that bid is accepted - enjoys playing here but that's where it ends.
Don't think I worded it particularly well after a few beers last nightReally didn’t need a “source inside the club” for that. He’s going but only if a top bid comes in and it’s accepted. No shit. Could say the same for every player at the club. They’re all going when we get an acceptable bid for them.
"Worth" isn't a thing. It's all about leverage. Forest made it clear they had to have MGW so Wolves were in chargeMGW is only worth that because Wolves had a desperate, wealthy buyer who had made him their number one target. Honestly don’t see him leaving unless his release fee is met now. Sell him on the cheap (£25m+) or keep him and win promotion (£150m+). Those are the kind of numbers the Prince likes to see.Don't think I worded it particularly well after a few beers last nightBut yeah, just passing on what I was told - it's not far off, more concrete bids expected fairly imminently.
Wont be 150m if we get promoted, at that point he will have one year left on his contract like Phillips did, so maybe 45-50m.Honestly don’t see him leaving unless his release fee is met now. He’s referring to Prem money!Wont be 150m if we get promoted, at that point he will have one year left on his contract like Phillips did, so maybe 45-50m.
£150m for promotion not for SanderWont be 150m if we get promoted, at that point he will have one year left on his contract like Phillips did, so maybe 45-50m.

And ignoring the cost to keep him or the loss/impact if promotion isn’t secured. He’s referring to Prem money!
They all do it.For what it is worth I think he'll go probably on deadline day.
Did anyone see the video at the end of the match yesterday I think it was on Facebook Berge goes to shake hands with the Blackburn keeper and then speaks with him but covers his mouth, I know he probably knows him from his time at Genk but just seemed strange, obviously telling him something he didn't want the camera to pick up. I guess he could have been telling him his pin number.

Have you watched football on TV before?
The cost to keep him? You mean the contract we agreed with him? Why are our fans so negative all the time? And ignoring the cost to keep him or the loss/impact if promotion isn’t secured.
It's mad. McCabe is gone, move on. Some of our supporters would rather we had Matt Spring in midfield and watch us chunter along in mid-table than show a bit of steel, keep our talismanic midfielder and walk the league so long as it makes the spreadsheets purr. The cost to keep him? You mean the contract we agreed with him? Why are our fans so negative all the time?. Promotion is easier to achieve if you keep your best players. Should we just sell all our players now in case we don’t get promoted and to offset the “cost to keep them”?
