Player went straight through him from behind and your first thought is that he's going to pretend to be injured now until he's soldSander just needs to pick up a little niggle that lasts a couple of weeks, thought it had happened the other nite![]()
Where did i say Sander should "pretend"Player went straight through him from behind and your first thought is that he's going to pretend to be injured now until he's sold
Clubs sign players with minor injuries a fair bit these daysWhere did i say Sander should "pretend"
My point is if he was to pick up a "little niggle" now for a couple weeks (it puts other clubs off buying him) it gets us past the end of the window and he stays here.
Ok we lose him for a couple of games, but we gain the his services until at least January.

Dont forget tho, these clubs were already concerned about his fitness if reports about bids were to be believed.Clubs sign players with minor injuries a fair bit these days
I didn’t know how much we owed, but if it’s something like 5m take 20m off Liverpool for himAnd why would we do that? Brewster money is budgeted for at the time of concluding the transfer. And we’ve probably paid off most of the instalments already over the last 3 years which would only leave performance based payments (if there were any).
We don’t owe Liverpoop £35m which is what they will have to pay to get Berge so absolutely no point “swopping” Berge for a debt that is a fraction of the value of our best player.
Its the same difference to either club. Liverpool would still be 'down' £25m and we'd be up £25m.I didn’t know how much we owed, but if it’s something like 5m take 20m off Liverpool for him
Or tell them £35m or nob offI didn’t know how much we owed, but if it’s something like 5m take 20m off Liverpool for him

If Liverpool valued Brewster at 23 mill Berge must be worth 30 mill at least because he is twice the player but reading reports they seem to believe they could get him for 15mill. GO AND TAKE A HIKE LIVERPOOL Pay the money or f--k o-f.Or tell them £35m or nob off. That’s what his release fee is. If they are serious, pay the release fee.
We seem obsessed with trying to sell our own players on the cheap. We had years of the previous owners doing it that’s it’s almost like it’s ingrained in to the fans to drive a low deal for us
.
I knew what you meant. It's a thought that comes into my head every window regarding at least one of our star players.Where did i say Sander should "pretend"

He's a mega attractive cash cow (in every sense). We keep him, we'll benefit hugely and therefore, you better be willing to pay for us to consider planning for the season without him.I think his value will only go up and more importantly, I think the board realise that and subsequently we will hang onto him until January unless someone offers the release fee.
in January, if in a good position to get promoted we hang onto him until the summer.
even if someone offers the release fee Berge does not have to agree to take it.
He’ll not be going unless that clause is met, especially with the start to the season we’ve had, he’s more valuable to us to get us back up.
