Outgoing? SANDER BERGE ON WAY OUT ?

He was in the behind the scenes video of the Stoke victory.

Was in the tunnel as players came out, seemed happy enough smiling and giving them high 5's as the players walked out.

How is our Norwegian wonder kid doing ?

Does anyone know?
He’d be recovering really quickly, however, a combination of the air in England and the stress of his move from Norway are hampering his recovery.

He’s now had 6 weeks out with a grass stain, and would definitely have signed for PSG by now if it wasn’t for that.

Not convinced we will see him in a Blades shirt again....

Unless the club are prepared to take a massive hit in order to get him off the books, I would have thought he'd need to demonstrate his fitness to any potential suitors prior to any transfer. Some may overlook his form if they're convinced of his quality, however, I doubt anyone would offer anything more than a very lowball price until he's been able to get through a number of games.

The fact that PSG are willing to pay £35m for him shows how little you know about players 👀

The physio team clearly aren't helping him as much as they should

I think sander berge owes brewster a case of strawberry yazoos....

Imagine what stick berge would be getting now if brewster wasn't a bigger dissapointment and a bigger price tag..

Hope sander gets on his bike asap for as close as the price we paid for him, a lightweight who whilst making all the right noises, clearly doesn't want to play for us.

Just like houses, the price is what the eventual buyer actually pays, not what is asked or rumoured to be the price.

Another fucking waste of good money, we've been good at that the last couple of years haven't we?

God the fans of this club come across as so small time and parochial at times

Any one who cost money or is skilfull has page after page of threads brimming with shit jokes about how they are the worst signing/player ever and that's fair enough but it's the level of contentment that we have something to moan about as we deserve to live in shit with nothing nice to look at ever

Sander either started or came on as a sub in the first 27 league games after he was signed.

Since then he’s managed 8 out of 39 games.

I don’t know: who does think everything is shit because what else could it be?

You know judge, I liked you so much better before you became forum police. When you had actual opinions.

Don’t want to play him for all to see how poor he’s been…at least if he’s “injured” we maybe able to recoup at least a third of what we payed….

Our stats with him in the team are nothing short of abysmal.

but..but….but…..

To be honest, we’ve run out of excuses for him these days. So we might as well circle back to “he’s actually good, it’s just that our fans aren’t good enough to recognise it”.

If people want to criticise a player that's fine
But it's the miserable wallowing in shit way that blades fans do it
It's like the Yorkshire men sketch on monty python seeing who can be the most miserable ,its like its the only time your happy
We've just had arguably the clubs greatest period and not a fucking peep then

That's nonsense. This board was live and kicking when we were in our ascendancy.

Straw man alert.

In this case, the thread is about Sander Berge, who quite factually hasn't been very god for us, at any point. So I'm not sure what your point is.

18 million McBurnie- Rubbish
23 million Brewster- Rubbish
28 million Berge-Rubbish

Why us ey!
Probably no balance to the signings

we do better spending peanuts

Please don't get job with the Samaritans.

It's almost as if no one posted anything on here during the 4 great seasons when Wilder seemed to have turned the world on it's head. Like you I recall loads of fans enjoying the ride and proclaiming one good signing after the other. The fact that we seem to have then totally messed up the last 18 months is just a fact, what are we supposed to do. Pretend it hasn't happened

Literally the only one of those you've got right is McBurnie.

Brewster was £23m after addons, which we're never going to have to pay.

Berge was £22m.

No problem with anyone having a dig but at least be fucking accurate,

I wouldn't read too much into that, Sky basically running another article on who Newcastle could buy, what might be more telling is Newcastle talking with Brighton's sporting director, given their transfer history/record its a good move

I’d assume a relatively close eye is being kept on any interactions between us and Newcastle due to the nature of the ownership of both clubs.
