Sack him now

Wilder isn't your biggest problem. That's the players you have been left with. We could make a list of his faults including nothing is ever his fault, but he has the experience to get you out of this mess.

You just need to keep picking up points until January and take it from there. There's a fair few poor sides and managers and it won't take a lot to go past them. With the state of Wednesday there's only another two sides to go above.

It's patently obvious that we massively over achieved last season. Frankly it was last season. We didn't have a 92 point squad. Nowhere near. We had an ad hoc hodge podge of mediocrity that were squeezing everything out of themselves. The reaction in the last few months of the season was batshit then and it has, in time, come out in the wash. It's a pity those we rely on for sober judgement bought into it.

That overachievement last season and some horrendous recruitment this has balanced things out. People can now see what we are and to a large extent what we were. Sensibilities have changed; realism has kicked in. Add in the fitness issues and you have a turd cake.

Think the OP hit it on the head this has been the norm since April last season after the Coventry game
So are you agreeing we should sack our manager and appoint our 3rd manager
Of the season? What if that doesn’t work? Go for another sacking and keep sacking till jan when we can actually being in some new players? What if it doesn’t work then?

Yeah, it reeks of 2010/11 as a strategy.

Do you actually believe that or does it just suit the narrative of its everyone but Wilder’s fault?

Like everybody else I'm lost as to why what is practically the same set of players as last season could now be so poor .
The only consolation I can think of is just how bad it would have been if we had won promotion....... :tumbleweed:
