What I did like about him was that he scored one with his left, the other with his right.
How often do we see more experienced strikers determined to get the ball onto their favoured foot only to then be closed down and lose the chance to score.
I know the opposition defending might not have been that great the other night but I do like a striker that is prepared to use both feet to shoot.

It was a 45 minute cameo. In which he showed excellent promise. He'll get more minutes in the coming friendlies against higher opposition. Let's wait and see. There's a player of some quality there. Time will tell.

Agreed.

I keeping thinking I must be the only one who thinks Cannon will be a great asset.

January is such a hard time to join a team, especially one doing well and where your involvement is bit part. His finish v Burnley was one of the most clinical from any player all season. Looks simple, but very very clinical. Then he tried too hard, made wrong decisions because of it. This season - the focus will be on the manager, he can go under the radar and flourish.

I don't even think he looked great last night. He scored 2 and was a nuisance but he also made the wrong decision on a couple more. For me, he needs a 6 month loan in league 1, playing every week. He's not going to be consistent at his age.

That's not to say he played badly. He played well. But his decision making is very mixed.

I remember how this board went mad for Mousset after a friendly against Doncaster.
For a short space of time Mousset was easily the most talented player at the club…I think quite a lot of us went mad for him.
