Running on pitch

Anyone see the lad near the end square up to their collection of teens who came over towards the South Stand (second game in a row now)? Skipped past about 5 stewards before getting caught, just in front of the baying school children in the Blackburn end.

Yesterday after the game had ended. Usual shirt begging but one bloke, looked in his 30s decided to run on the pitch, along with his 3 very young kids to beg MGW's shirt.
Fans still in the ground were booing and jeering as he ran almost to the centre circle to meet MGW.
MGW gives him the shirt and he returns triumphantly to John St stand and gives the prize to his daughter.
Lots of people start calling him out and he starts to get aggressive. lots of arguing, swearing and posturing. A steward apparently tells him he is going to be banned for his efforts. it boiled over into the concourse and onto John St.
Must have been terrifying for his young kids.
Anyone see what happened after?

Saw him on the pitch from the South Stand and thought it was pathetic.

Got told afterwards by someone in John Street about the shenanigans when he got back to the stand.

Hope he does get banned.

Only a total prick would take his kids on to the pitch to beg for a players shirt imho.

Too much of it currently.

What an absolute clown.
Similar applies to the Forest fan who ran onto the fringe of the pitch after their first. From the Bramall lane lower. Where he had done a sterling ten minutes as an assistant to a forest fan in a wheelchair before he decided he was a giant cunt instead.

I dont understand why MGW gave it him?

Surely the players must know it encourages this sort of behaviour particularly with the begging ' can I have your shirt' signs.

Exactly. The first response to this should be if someone literally runs on the pitch don’t give them your shirt. Better still, go to a stand and give it some kid without a sign.

It was just in front of me, he got some right shit for it. I felt sorry for the kids, yes one of them got a shirt (2 didnt) but will have heard a lot of vitriol to their Dad and probably won't be able to go to the lane again now as the Dad will be banned. Personally I don't like this new culture of begging for players shirts but on the flip side as a kid I would have loved a players shirt.

Saw him outside the ground on Bramall Lane after the match shouting about something that had happened to his kids also. Lovely of him flipping the V’s in front of kids on John Street stand when he was coming off the pitch, his kids must be so proud of him.

Maybe it’s just me but if I was the kid then that shirt would be meaningless given the fucking state of events which led to getting it and what I had to witness after getting it.
