Oh man

Yeah it’s wonderful, brilliant and great. Since Christmas things don’t seem right.

I hope I’m wrong but like I’ve said above if we don’t buck up our ideas we could lose such a gap we fully deserved to have.
Winning every game would be good, not many teams do that though.

Jebbison's pointless suspension might have cost us 3 points there

He can't be back soon enough

We at least need McBurnie for the full 90 v Swansea
I love Billy and all he's done for us but he hasn't really been at it recently.
His decision to put in a lofted shot from the left rather than square it to his 2 waiting colleagues was poor.
Earlier he was on the right and dinked in a floated cross to the far post when there were 2 colleagues near the penalty spot waiting for the ball.
These examples tell me that his age is telling on his ability to make split-second choices at which he's been excellent in the past.
That's not to say that others weren't guilty of similar mistakes.
So many of our final balls cost us goal chances today.

Fair play to the Millers, they earned their point. We are getting the job done, are hard to beat but painful to watch at times. Lacking pizzazz as I just heard Kelly Somers say about someone else.

Truth is, you can hardly ever bring yourself, to find anything good that is Sheffield United. All your truths are actually opinions. I suspect if Burnley had beaten us 5-2, you may have been less forgiving on The Blades. Just my opinion. Up the Blades
I say plenty of good things about United too, but I'm not going to pretend I'm entertained just because the team is second in the League.

They have been shit for many many weeks, they are a difficult, stressful watch

Even during what should be an enjoyable time they still have to make it wank

McAtee came on against a tiring midfield and defence. I don't agree he should have started. He has been poor against physical teams.
If you’re worried about a physical team you wouldnt put Ben Osborn there instead though would you?

The entertainment from the start of the season where Ndiaye, Berge, Anel and a few others were on their game has completely gone. I agree on that.

We now setup to pinch the odd goal by hoping Ndiaye or McAtee pull something out the bag.

I'll give you the difficult and stressful to watch, isn't that just football supporting? But definitely not shit. We do lack the top quality in many areas, as do every team in this league. However, we have enough players of ability to win at this level. At times we play outstanding stuff, not always, but no team ever has. Try to enjoy our good bits as they far outweigh the bad bits at the moment.

Who else? The guy who has never started a game in English football?
If you’re really worried about physicality then Basham.

Although given that McAtee was the only one driving us forward when he came on, I really dont see the argument that he can’t play in games like today.

Against tired players who were no longer pressing? Jesus wept, can fans not tell the difference. Because someone came off the bench when we had a lot more of the ball and did well it doesn't mean he would of from the start. Basham can't play in midfield any more.

Suppose that Blackpool team he danced around had just turned up straight from the boozer as well?

Basham played in midfield the other week btw.

Disagree McAtee can skip past the cloggers but Osborne usually loses the ball…and when gets the ball does nowt with it McAtee came on and danced past them so I stand by what I said he should have started and put them on the back foot from the off

if the good bits far outweighed the bad bits no one would be complaining

Oh yes they would! Isn't that what are doing? 10 points clear for automatic promotion and only one team above us. Under what criteria would that be the bad outweighing the good? Might not be good enough for some, but that's a different debate.

Aye he played well. On what basis do you think he can’t play in midfield anymore?

He’d have had more composure in the midfield than Osborn had today.
The Chris Basham, now 34, who hasn't played in midfield for us regularly since 2017 when he was converted to a CB because he wasn't good enough to play in midfield.

That Chris Basham is just going to be good enough for a team second in the championship when he struggles to play at RCB nowadays?

The same Chris Basham who was hardly world beating in CM in League 1 6 years ago?

'ANYMORE'

Yeah, the WBA, Boro, Watford, Norwich, West Brom fans must be over the moon that they're not 10 points clear with a game in hand. Laughing at how shit we are to keep winning most weeks. Sack the manager. We should be playing like Brazil and walking each game 10:0.

I dont think it was that he wasn’t good enough. We moved to a back 5 and he went to CB because it suited us and we had players that could be more useful in midfield the way we were setting up to play. That doesnt mean he’s not good enough to fill in which in your hypothetical scenario he would have been doing.

You think he might struggle now at this level but that’s probably down to lack of game time, something that you brought up as an excuse for Osborn earlier.

Anyway I cba with this anymore, I wouldnt have played either of them so it’s pointless and I was only entertaining your question of who else could go there. McAtee showed why he should start ahead of Osborn today. Your theory about him only looking good because they were tiring, I cant get on board with. If anything, he’s done well to look so good given how deep they would have been sat.

Enjoy your Saturday.

I guess we will know soon enough if the wheels are coming off next three league games will tell us.

I think we will be lucky to stay in the top six with whats coming game wise.

Never mind, you'll all feel better when (if) you put a few past us in the Cup replay

We weren't at our best today either but we managed to grind out a 2-1 win at Altrincham. To keep Sunday's trend going, we lost yet another defender to an accidental injury. At this rate, Phil Parkinson will soon be asking me to dust my boots off.

See you Tuesday ...
