No, it's more that he was the worst player against Wrexham, spending the match running around like a headless chicken, not knowing who he was marking, where to be etc. He was shockingly bad in a team where many players played poorly. Both Osborn and Davies were terrible against Wrexham and the stand out worst players.

No one is singling him out as a scapegoat, merely highlighting that he was awful last match and are concerned that Hecky is picking him after such a poor performance. For me I'm a bit concerned today. If Ozzy and Berge both have an off day then we nothing coming from midfield to support the front two with McAtee on the bench.

Like others I hope Osborn is alongside Norwood and Berge allowed to push up to inside forward. Of our various midfield set ups, the V with Norwood at the base is the weakest for me. Usually when he has someone alongside him, Norwood can get across the half way line and help us keep possession in the opposition, which is is where we have been struggling lately. It gives Berge and Ndiaye more freedom as well.

Perhaps you’ve summed it up with ‘not knowing where to be’. He’s played in so many different positions that he’s never really sure what his role is in each match.
