Result wise we've obviously been doing ok

Form wise we've been in a rut for half a dozen games or so.

Only so long you can rely on individual brilliance to get you results while the team are in poor form.

Really need to kick on from here and regather our old form from now until the end of the season.

New news on owner my grandmas sisters 8th cousins sons daughters husband works as a sock washer a BDTBL he says the new owner is South African billionaire Elon musk.

looking forward going to the game at the new york 4 day visit for 2 birthdays and a christening in leeds only problem is I'm in the Rotherham fans stand . Managed to get one as my address being in Spain convinced their ticket office. I'm a former Rotherham expat.
I'll be the one jumping up and. .in their end when we score.
You won’t be the only one

There's been a lot of change, speculation and noise these past few weeks. It will be important to get back to the football. Amidst all that nonsense, I hope the squad have been able to simply focus on tactics, this is a really tricky tie. In Hecky we trust.

I too think they will miss Barlaser. Also Wiles out for the season. They were their two better players when we faced them last.

They did what they could in the window. I'll give them that.

But it's asking a lot for Coventry to come in on loan and just replace Barlaser straight away. I'd also like to think that Egan can handle the like of Hugill most weeks.

I don't like when teams get ahead of themselves but playing Wrexham and having a scare might have been just the tonic for playing Rotherham away, who will have similar strengths.

We'll be in the right mindset and likewise having the Millers tomorrow is probably good prep for the replay.

We just need to get on the ball and play our game. I'd like to think Norwood, Ndiaye and McBurnie can use their skill and experience to get us through this week.

With Norwich and Burnley playing each other. It's a good game to win. Someone either falls further behind us or comes further within reach.

No easy games, and this will be another tough one after a couple of decent results for them, and 7 signings in the window.. i know they've lost Barlasser and Obefeme though.
Pity Jebbo isn't involved,as he's impressed of late and offers that threat in behind, but still fancy us to get at least a point.

2 or 3-1 to the Millers tomorrow I’m afraid, they will mark Illy out of the game like they did at home. Stop Illy stop us.

Going to be a really tough game, but has been said already their midfielder looks weaker than last game. They closed us down, which we really struggled with.

I'd go with:

------------------------------Wes
--------Bogle------Anel-----Egan----Robbo-----Lowe
---------------Berge-------Norwood-------Doyle
------------------Ndiaye---------------McBurnie

subs:

Davies, Sachdev, Basham, Osborn, McAtee, Coulibaly, Sharp

Really tricky one this.

Going for a -2-1 Blades win. I'm hoping the squad is on a high with us keeping a hold of Berge and Illi, but Rotherham are a tough nut to crack.

Fodders

Bogle Anel/Basham Egan Robbo Lowe

Berge Norwood Doyle

One of our toughest games left for us, if we can sneak a win ill be delighted, they will be up for this like no other game, but with our recent form im not expecting much, i know weve been getting the results but performance wise weve been flat , hope now the window is closed and we go with what we have it will pick up

All tough games now. If Rovrum are brave and fancy themselves, all four of our goal will come from midfield and defence. 😊

The new players are bound to take time to bed in. It will also affect the 'Happy Family' theme they will have built up as a squad... with some players feeling their noses have been put out of joint.
Good time to play them. I would hope for a comfortable 3-1 victory for us. 🤞

If the squad aren't on a high - 12 points clear towards promotion to the Prem and achieving a key milestone in their professional careers - then they never will be

We now need need Sander and Oli Mac to really step up - if they get their act together then , well - job done

I think one of them will but not the one who has been playing regularly.

McB looks like he wants to get back to scoring to make a point.

Take a point right now. We're as good as promoted so no dramas. Just don't lose to the arse lickers.

Remember back to the home match.
We'd just played brilliantly beating top of the league Burnley and Rotherham were in poor form.
Everyone just assumed we'd win, the players probably felt the same meaning they weren't as focussed.
Rotherham were the deserved 1-0 winners.

Now it's the exact opposite.
Rotherham have just thrashed Blackburn 4-0 in their last home game and they have just had a great transfer window bringing in some good players.
Rotherham fans feel confident almost cocky and our fans say they'll be happy with a draw.

Therefore our players will be focussed expecting a really tough match.
When ever we expect really difficult games, we tend to play well.
We haven't played really well for a while but that's because we've played lowly/ poor teams.

So I'm predicting an impressive, fairly comfortable Millers 1 Blades 3
Can just see it.....our fans then think we're nailed on for promotion.
then we lose next week at home to Swansea to bring our fans down to earth again.

I sense a major difference between the players, and the fans in terms of attitude. We are all waiting for something bad to happen, because it usually does. This is SUFC after all. It’s part of the club make up and history.
The players all come across as happy and very supportive of each other. Even the few star players are happy to support the likes of JLT, Osborn, Clark and other supporting acts, because they all know that is what we have as a team to get the job done.
No bedwetters in this squad. PH won’t allow it.

100% defeat today, they will do a job on us like they did at home. 2-1 or 3-1 to the millers.

I'm going to watch the first 15 minutes, see if we can snatch a goal. Then, instead of the usual chewing my fingers off watching us hanging on for 75+ minutes, I'm going to fuck off to a garden centre.

Which is nice.

Hard fought win think we will have too much across the midfield for them

Look at our midfield 5 in the last game Screenshot_20230204_085607_FotMob.jpg

Just had a quick blast on FIFA whilst kids were still in bed.
Coincidentally my next game was Rotherham away.

Good news. We win 2.0. Ndiaye and McBurnie 👌🏻

Go home for a bit boys and girls, it's not on until this evening 😱Screenshot_2023-02-04-10-09-14-829_com.google.android.gm.jpg
