McNulty is already gambling that it's off and has made other plans. He thought you were asking about his Friday night down town. Why else does he need to be getting his hair done on a Friday when all he's supposed to be doing tomorrow is sitting on a bench in a woolly hat?? He's obviously dragging the great J.W Wright down with him as well. Watch our defence crumble from now on and blow promotion!
 
Can't believe some fellow Blades are wishing the game off for "What if...?" reasons like the pitch will be shit and we might get injuries. I assume these are people who aren't going tomorrow which I've no problem with but 3500 Blades have made plans for tomorrow and have spent money some of which won't be refundable or like me booked time off work. It's Saturday. It's football day. Get it on! I want another great day out with my mates watching the Blades. If we blow promotion now it won't be because a match against Rochdale DIDN'T get called off.
 
Rochdale will be desperate for it to go ahead ,if half the tickets get returned ,which would have to in my car that would cost them around 40k or about a months club wage bill.

Funnily enough just seen Paul Coutts in Sainsburys. Hope he and Billy don't have a fall out about what the best store is and derail our promotion chances. Wilder needs to be on the ball with this one

I'm not so sure they'll be that desperate.

We'll sell out regardless so they won't lose much if anything financially, they have a number of injuries and suspensions and a break now would give them time to get their new pitch right.

That update from them is very encouraging though.

Just seen Hanson in the 'Big Man' shop, Stocksbridge...he said it's raining on the high ground, round his head, but below the knees, in the lowlands, it's fine...

Should be reyt.

I wouldn't recognise any of them unless they had their United shirt on and I could clearly see the back with the name on.
I did see Harry M a few months ago in Morrisons, only recognised him because his female companion was shouting "Harry, Harry, Harry" (in an Alan Partridge sort of manner) from three aisles away as he tried to ignore her.

Can't even read the name on the back due to the font in which it's written clashing with the colour pattern on the chuffing shirt.
Why couldn't they put a plain panel on which to print the name , so old fuckers with bi-focal specs have a sporting chance ?

A pitch update ahead of Saturday's match...

The ground staff have taken every precaution necessary to ensure Saturday's League One fixture v Sheffield United goes ahead.

We're confident that the game will go ahead, unless there's a drastic change to the weather that's forecasted overnight and on Saturday morning.

Should the situation change, we'll issue a further update tomorrow (Saturday).

Weather here been pissing down all day but forecast tomorrow is 50% chance of rain.
Dont know what sort of prep they have done but hope its on as its 10 mins from my house and been looking forward to it for a while
