Good old Boo has obviously stayed up all night to monitor meteorological conditions in the Rainy City with his trusty rain gauge.

Travel safely, observe the rules of the road and take your litter home. Oh, and stop the ale after the first half gallon.

Oh and it was"Proper Rain". Not this tippy tappy drizzle stuff with no end product. There were massive puddles everywhere. pedestrians had to have a jump back attitude at every junction to avoid vehicle splash but some folk wouldn't know "Proper Rain" if it came and splashed them directly in the face.

Feb is a good month to lay turf , lots of watering done by natural means

provided you dont walk on it for while
if its been unused for a couple of weeks the roots should have took hold by now
and drunk a lot of the water
tomorrow is possibly a good day to use it
alternatively
if they put cornflour down it should thicken up

Surprisingly, February is one of the drier months of the year.
