Saliba’s injury, causing Holding having to play was a big reason arsenal slipped up. They’ve now benched Holding for a youngster and he’s much better than Holding. He wouldn’t be bad for us, but 5m would be the most id pay for him, and of course his wages would be a lot. And Egan and Anel are both clear.

A loan for Holding maybe viable with Palace part paying his wage. He was at Arsenal for ages so I’d guess he’s on a fortune. Easily £40k plus
