Don't you think our current manager and his staff are intelligent enough to formulate such a plan?

The only option is to sign a forum member to be our next striker. Get your boots and kit on Davalon :D

Went full kit wanker this morning to work at home so if you'd let me know earlier I wouldn't have got changed.

No it’s not that at all. Im fully prepared to believe there’s a plan for every player in United squads what their strengths and weakness are and how to improve them and the same goes for incomings signings whether permanents or loans. My point was more of a general one with Brewster but using that to illustrate it. He seems to be one of the players papers are using to generate column space and clicks without anything actually coming out of official channels or even fairly reputable news sources everything seems to be breaking on random largely wum twitter accounts with paper then running with that info as if it’s official.

Hopefully we’re trying to smooth the deal through and win Klopp over with a targeted DVD:
  • a computer generated “highlights reel” of his potential time with us that crescendos to a “and that’s a hat-trick for Brewster who yet again cuts through the Man City defence”
  • smash cut through to mockup interview with a still image of Brewster and a Kevin Cookson voiceover “how does it feel to be made player of the year, despite the notorious Sheffield weather?”, with someone that sounds a bit like McBurnie impersonating Brewster’s response “I owe it all to the fine coaching from the gaffer and ‘Knilly’”
  • ends with an attack ad showing a collection of awful highlights of Villa, Brighton, Newcastle and the other interested clubs, maybe with Danny Rose interviewed saying “I came to Newcastle on loan and now can’t seem to find a club that will take me”.

Throw in a Sheffield Steel cutlery set personalised to Klopp and that should probably do it.

Do you honestly believe CW hasn't identified targets through the summer or even long before? Yes or no answer.

Well the fact we are starting with Billy says we have not got it right so far upfront.

Burke is no better than what we already had and I.M.O is a poor signing.

We are in a situation that reminds me of 2006 when we had Hulse as our own genuine premier league quality striker.

Soon as Hulse got injured we lacked that extra quality, and we only have 1 genuine premier league quality striker that is fit more often than not and that is McBurnie.

Mousett is hardly ever fit it is a complete waste of time.

Did you understand the question?

Imagine being such a negative person that you write somebody off before they've played a single minute in the shirt. Wow.

No i don't believe it but as ever always to do with finances holding us back when it comes to the crunch which is frustrating.
What did you mean saying we've had all summer to identify targets then?
You're constantly implying the club has done fa, and seem to get a kick out of knocking us.
What will your reaction be when Wilder does get his man?

Prediction: We look bang average tonight against the only team who seemed to really figure us out last season.

Brewsters team think we're in for a relegation scrap and decides to go elsewhere

I will be surprised if we sign anyone of note.

Just to be absolutely clear:
I don't know anyone whomsoever associated with Sheffield United Football Club
I don't know anyone who follows one of our immediate (PL) rivals for Brewster's signature
I don't know / associate with any Scousers (thankfully)
I never have (& never will) read, let alone believed anything that is in any way published, linked, associated with intimated by alluded to by the Murdoch press (sic)
I am wholly incompetent in all aspects of 'social media' & pay fuck all attention to arsebook, twatter or thicktoc

I can tell you's:-
We may or may not sign Brewster
It may or may not be a permanent transaction (with or without a 'buy back' clause)
He may be shite or outstanding ( or somewhere between) if /when he wears a Sheffield United jersey
If / when it is apparent that said association football player does not intend / is prevented from donning said Sheffield United jersey (in any form of competitive fixture) employees engaged by said Football Club to recruit appropriate / necessary personnel will seek to secure an alternative Association Football player whom, in their considerable experience, will meet the needs / requirements they themselves have identified and that will benefit Sheffield United Football Club - (nigh on) universally recognised as being a goal scoring 'forward'

Sheffield United Football Club are scheduled to embark upon a second (consecutive) season competing in the 'Premier League' in approximately 2 hours (without engaging the services of someone to fully occupy the above described / documented 'vacancy')

Sorted ( for now) ?
So when is he signing then?

I wish the lad all the best and hope he makes me eat my words i really do.

But it is the same old chestnut that when you say something that is the truth you are always accused of being negative where as his record says it all.

We are arguably weaker first team wise than last season where as those around us have strengthened their first teams.

Blocked...FUD

I thought we nullified all their strengths if anything.
