An somewhat odd assessment given that Utd gained four points in the two games v Wolves last season. IMHO no team really figured Utd out - the closest being Newcastle and Southampton but Utd could easily have won both home games. Even Liverpool and Man City struggled to dominate at Bramall Lane.

How are we weaker? We’ve lost Hendo and replaced him with Ramsdale and then all the younger players have a year extra experience and development.Then on top of that we’ve got Berge who we didn’t have at the start of last season.

I’m not sure about it being Wolves that have have figured us out but I wouldn’t fancy Brewster to do any more than McBurnie or Billy with the aimless hoofs and shite crosses from deep to nobody in particular that we’ve been resorting to this evening.

I’ll be happy if he’s signed, but hope we’re planning on giving him better service than we’ve given our forwards in the last few League games!

We just looked like we struggled to find a balance tonight. We either overplayed it on the wing, or played an early cross from deep to nobody. Brewster wouldn’t solve that.

Not good enough tonight. Lacklustre start against an excellent team. We are usually fired up from the start, but it was the other way around

Better second half, but still more huff and puff in and around the box

Some of our crossing was poor imo

One or two players did ok. One or two didn't look good enough

First game and we are under pressure in this relentless league with two more difficult league games coming up

Onwards and upwards

Yeah... We're rubbish eh, always have been, definitely haven't plowed through the leagues to critical acclaim...

One opening day performance v an extremely good team...

I can't give owt away, but there is connection to the club

I know next to nowt other than what he said, which was that he has signed and he did say permanent.

We'll see and I accept I'll be proper hammered if it turns out to be bollox
