None of these are coming here on 20 - 25k a week. At least none of them that would be better than what we have.

I am hoping for rabbit or two out of the hat from the lower leagues in Europe, as Leicester did with Mahrez.

What makes you think we will be only signing players on 20-25k? we are a premier league team not a championship team now.

A 'realistic' 11 we could sign would be much better.

There's no way we could get Ake, Aarons, Godfrey, King, Delufeou, Wilson, Brooks, Doucoure etc. due to fees, wages, better clubs after them etc.

So the realistic best 11 of targets:
Krul/Foster
Byram/Stacey - Cathcart - Mepham - Lewis/Rico
Buendia - Lerma - Cook/Billing - Hughes
Pukki - Idah

I'd take most of them but I'd most like Lerma, he's a fucking brute. He's Besic on steroids. Yellow card waiting to happen, but my god we could've done with it in some games this season.
Mepham could also be a revelation at RCB under the right gaffer and in the right system, he was great for Brentford and safe to say no defenders look good under Eddie Howe.

Klopp rated him and Howe enough to spend 22m on him. I fear he's similar to moose though and plays on confidence big time.
I agree with that, and he's looked a different player since he got his first goal in the PL, but we won't be spending what it'd cost for him. It's too big a risk.
At £10mil I'd be tempted.

Difficult one to call.. Bournemouth won't come close to recouping the fee they paid for him so may want to hang on to him. On the other hand he will be on big wages and probably be somewhat ambitious being a Liverpool graduate so he may agitate for a move. Can't see us getting him personally but then I couldn't see us getting a 22m Sander Berge either!

Talk.a out sitting on the fence...

You got splinters in your arse buddy?

I see Solanke in the Mousset mould. Needs a proper manager to get hold of him. But difference is with Solanke there's no question of commitment or attitude, it's about channeling the attributes in the best way. He's all the attributes to be a reyt player and now he's got the PL goal monkey off his back it's probably the best time to try and sign him.
If he scores 20 next season Bournemouth are a) probably promoted or b) not gonna sell him for a penny less than £30mil

There's a reason he's played at such a high level for England and Liverpool poached him from Chelsea in the first place. I'd take him for half what they paid for him, definitely.

I agree with you mate. His attitude sets him apart from moose. I think he's unfortunate he joined Bournemouth when he did.

I think Bournemouth spunking money on Liverpool youth players has always been a bit fucking weird. Brad Smith is a left back, about £8mil, signed at 23, he's currently on loan in the MLS...
Jordon Ibe, something like £13mil, absolutely bombed

So they thought it'd be third time lucky with Solanke for... £19mil.
What a weird club, no surprise they went down

Think it is a mixture of things with Solanke, confidence is a big one and playing to his strengths I think he would be worth a punt at a similar fee to Moussett i certainly think there is still a playet there that we could see grow and become a far better player.

I'd take Chris Mepham! Would be a quality add to provide depth in quality so we can rotate to keep fresh.

6ft 2in, great first touch, works hard and decent pace. If we could get him for £10-£12m I'd definitely pay it. If could offset that fee by getting £7/8m for Robinson it would be a great bit of business for me.

Think he would work well with McBurnie Solanke is fairly rapid too well worth a gamble in my eyes.

Max Aarons would be the best signing from the relegated sides but clearly not realistic.

We can’t afford Arans

I meant Will Hughes
No idea what sort of fee/wages he would command, but I think Will Hughes would be an excellent signing for us. Still relatively young but with plenty of experience in the prem, seems to have a decent attitude and also comes from the area (Derby?)

I’d have punt on Danny Welbeck. His star might have faded a bit. But Chris could definitely get tune out of him. Like a Prem version of Leon Clarke

He’d be perfect competition with Fleck and Freeman on the left and would fit our system and squad mentality.

We definitely need creativity and PACE.

However need to keep the solid defensive structure at the same time.

Maybe we could swap one of our players for one of theirs?

McBurnie + cash for Wilson?
Deactivate your account.

Lloyd Kelly (21, left wingback , Bournemouth) is a decent prospect...but i'm guessing Bournemouth will probably use him in the Championship if Diego Rico leaves and they trim the wagebill, he did well for Bristol City in it 2018/19.

I’d support Rotherham if we signed Krul, ffs arrogant half decent shot stopper playing above his ability in the PL

My guess is that we won't be signing any current prem players (or relegated ones) I would think we will be in the Championship market or abroad this time to get value for money and affordable wages

That’s not a bad call. We are supposed to have all these links to Belgium clubs and Rip Van Winkle‘s world wide contacts.
