Besides him ripping us a new one last season, is he that good? 4 goals & 3 assists last season isn't a huge return so I'm intrigued with Roygbiv view from Blackburn fans. Brighton also seem pretty willing to let him go

He got injured about February/March I think. Blackburn also tailed off massively as a team. They were second at one point I think

Statistics show that he played 27 games so pretty much all their games last season, but I do agree that they were punching above their weight for a while. I remember the 1st half vs Blackburn at home & thinking these are a lot better than us & he was a massive reason behind that. Hopefully with better players around him we'll see an improvement on those stats

Seems Diaz also missed 9 games which could hamper assist figures. He was lights out in the away game, I remember I kept checking the programme to find out who the fat little number 7 was

As a reminder, he did all this on one game. It's pretty much, the same amount of content you get from a some players sizzle reals from a couple of seasons.

His advanced stats show that he’s very very good at somethings like successful dribbles but doesn’t have the corresponding assists and goals you’d expect to see with someone who’s in the final third as much as he is. Probably points to him needing to improve things like his decision making. If he puts it all together he could be very very good but at this stage it probably points to him being more a rough diamond than the finished article.

I think that's more to do with Brereton-Diaz, than Khadra.

Fans views of Khadra are very mixed.
General consensus seems to be that he has a lot of talent with the ball at his feet and can be a match winner on his day (though he is inconsistent and often goes missing).

Without the ball he is tactically naive and he often plays by himself and not as part of a system.

I think he's a cracking signing and I'm a big fan of the structure of the deal.
Just don't expect him to be the Khadra that tore us apart every week, nor a replacement for MGW.

From what we read prior to his arrival I think MGW was similar. He hit the ground running with us and the formation suited him. You have to play a certain way to have the luxury of accommodating a 'Duffy role' so I think we'll suit him really well

Done deal, we are going to be some attacking force this season.

Maybe. But we're short of in form, fully fit strikers.

Ndiaye has shown he is lacking in front of goal and Berge and Khadra didn't score many between them last season.

We're lumping everything on Billy Sharp again, which I think is a bit negligent if we're serious about promotion.

Cheers.

Khadra info I've shared is correct but if things change, they change. Always a possibility. I share in good faith from people who allow me to share with you. Quite happy to stop.
Oh no please don’t I’m so sorry.

MGW more experienced than Khadra although we probably helped him clicked as an attacking force as previously he’d been a traditional centremid

The whole ITK thing is strange. People clamour for information/insights but then immediately look to dispute and discredit.

If people are willing and able to share info on the club, and the club is happy, then great - people have the choice whether to read and believe it or not.

Leaking information is something else and could end up harming the club especially where potential transfers are concerned. Very few people at the club know all the detail and that's how it should be. The other thing to consider is that things change rapidly e.g. it looked as though Lawrence was on his way for quite some time and all of a sudden the deal was off.

NH said that he was coming over for the second half of his medical, let's not get too carried away! It could still fall through and we need some negativity to cling on to!

I think the smattering of jealously towards YorkBlade is because some posters thought Hal was ‘one of us’ ;-). How dare he receive privileged info and share it :-).

Personally, I appreciate reliable info and knowing who I can trust on transfer matters. Oh, and this lad should be a great addition to the squad!

Wouldn't say it's all on Billy. Think we're confident that Brewster can do the business this season and I'm hopeful that's the case too. But if he gets injured then that does become the case.

I still feel we need another striker. Brewster and Sharp are fine but Jebbison is still learning, Osula needs a loan elsewhere in my eyes and McBurnie is McBurnie.

How much game time we could guarantee might be a sticking point with bringing someone in, though.

Please don't stop sharing snippets that you are allowed to in a considered way. As said, when you are a 'public figure' as such, then you are always going to get some criticism. I think the vast majority appreciate what you do.

At least you're not a weirdo like Roygbiv 🤣🤣🤣

Spot on. After breaking this news I'm fully waiting for Hal to rip one of his United shirts up and scream "Halkamania brother" on the next Sheff Utd Way video.

The views aren't fantastic but a few seem a tad bitter to me. It's very reminiscent of the John Fleck view from

I think Brewster can do the business, but as I’ve read a few other say I’m not sure he’s streetwise enough at times to be that fox in the box that we have with Sharp & his hold up play is invaluable at times.

Could Khadra, NDiaye & Brewster play together? Looks good on paper!

Brewster definitely needs a new pair of boots though, he can’t stop slipping!

I mean not to seem like an arse, but 27 games isn't pretty much all their games. There's 46 games in a season so he played around 57% of their games.
I've just looked and he played 26 league games and 1 FA cup game, scoring 5 and assisting 4.

Breaking down minutes wise, he played 1512 minutes for Blackburn last season, so a goal involvement every 168 minutes (not as bad as initial stats suggest).
I've not looked in to the stats for us last season, but I imagine MGW is probably the only player of ours last season that bettered that.

Exactly that on the game time which is why I'd be very surprised if we bring in a striker.

To be fair, how many clubs can say they have the depth of attacking talent we do even with what we've got. Brewster, Ndiaye and Sharp + Mcburnie, + 2 very very good young players. Does any other side in the division have that?

My bad I was thinking there was 38 games in the season but that’s the premiership, so yeah you’re right over 46 games he didn’t play as much due to the injury

Just had a quick check and MGW was the 4 highest on minutes played in the squad. Only Egan, Norwood, Wes played more. Not bad to say he was injured for a month or two
