I personally have zero issue with SUW/Hal/Nick having a bit of an inside track. Clearly, there ability to bite their tongue has established a level of trust within the club that the established journo's can only dream of. Just take things at face value and be grateful that there is someone being allowed access to privileged info. In their defence, perhaps, in the instance you refer to, their intention was to allay any fears that we've done all out business. Nothing to do with showing off IMO.

Please don't stop sharing snippets that you are allowed to in a considered way. As said, when you are a 'public figure' as such, then you are always going to get some criticism. I think the vast majority appreciate what you do.
