This sounds like an eminently sensible type of clause to add into the deal…

Potentially protects us if he rips things up like MGW and makes a success if things here and contributed to a promotion.

Doesn’t commit us long term if he flops

Or doesn’t commit khadra to us if we don’t go up and he wants to be playing top tier football.

Also allows Brighton some more flexibility if what they do with their player.

There is a set fee. The number of games he has to play to trigger any kind of option, should, quite rightly, not be revealed.
The fee is very reasonable and with add ons remains reasonable. If we go up, one would assume Khadra will have played his part and deserve everything coming to him. Works well for all parties.

Hopefully we will get to talk about that fee one day as that will mean we got promoted.

Awesome news! Sorry, I'm a tad slow today - is it an option to buy only if we go up? Or if he hits "x" amount of games?
