Announce it.

Fucking announce it united.

Please end this thread with a green tick.
Nooooooooooo, we’ve got another week to rack up another 150 pages of Morsey’esk debate, think of the children, keep us dangling until kits launched.

There is a set fee. The number of games he has to play to trigger any kind of option, should, quite rightly, not be revealed.
The fee is very reasonable and with add ons remains reasonable. If we go up, one would assume Khadra will have played his part and deserve everything coming to him. Works well for all parties.

Hopefully we will get to talk about that fee one day as that will mean we got promoted.

I think 'obligation' rather than 'option' is a better word to use as that's what it would be if he plays x number of games and we go up. Still, it hasn't happened yet and things can change in the final stages of negotiations, let's see.

Close as in completed.. or close as in close to agreeing terms? 🤔
Rosie Gaines close.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they gave Brewster 11 and Khadra 7, he wore that at Blackburn (only reason)
Know where ya coming from, but doubt they'd strip a permanent player his number for a loan player, unless Brewster makes the suggestion.

If it is a reasonable fee, should all the requirements be met for it to turn into buy, I imagine Brighton will be kicking themselves if he rips it up for us this season. We might sign him for way below his potential value. But of course many IF's there. We'll see.

He plays x amount of games.
We get promoted.
We pay £x

That right?

Previously successful strikers? They had our pants down with the prices for both deals. If release Mcburnie today, Brewster on the other hand I’m willing to invest more time into.

Let’s remember that Wilder openly admitted that he was at plan b and c, as his main targets opted for moves elsewhere…..

You get

it was no coincidence that the two teams who got out there last years and signed players early….were both promoted.

Fulham and Bournemouth…

What a ridiculous post.

Whatever your views on McBurnie since he joined us, and I think he's been utter dog turd, he was the 2nd best striker in The Champ the season before we signed him. We tried to get the No1 in Maupey but he went elsewhere so we went for the next best option. Anything else that challenges that view is pure rewriting of history to suit an agenda.

Re Brewster again if you looked at his performances the previous season then no one could really argue he wasn't a quality striker. The problem we had is we massively overpaid for him and expected him to make the step up immediately as our main striker, which was never going to happen. I still think he'll come good this season.

I’m sure he had 4 in 7 before he got injured? (I could’ve made that up entirely)

Let's hope he stays fit & healty and is at least half of what MGW was!

I think that's a sensible approach.
Hopefully between him, a more experienced Ndiaye & a fully fit and more advance Sander Berge we can replace some of what MGW gave the team.

Khadra alone can't replace MGW. None of them can on their own.

We seem to be getting less confident as the evening progresses...!
