You're obviously not happy with us having spent £40m on 2 previously successful strikers and now you think that playing the loan market is "a gamble"As in recent years where we left a lot of business until the 11th hour. In recent years where we spunked in excess of £10m for a player who flopped and just left us for free…. In recent years where we are still waiting for a goalcoring return from £40m of strikers. Have to wait and see and remain positive…
We’ve I’mproved this year in getting some business sorted early, but when playing the loans market…. It’s nothing short of a gamble. I get why we are doing it in terms of sustainability, but we’ve come undone when employing a similar tactic in the past.
What would you suggest as an alternate?
