his entire career. £500 to buy a Chinese. The last lines say it all. He's still full of it.

He isn't though.

He made some mistakes when was a young lad and a bit daft, but he hasn't been in trouble for several years. He is still a very gifted footballer, just struggles to fit within the framework of a team. Wilder was at pains last season to point out he hadn't had a moments bother from him and he left just for footballing reasons, same goes for Warnock.

I'd love him to go and enjoy what remains of his career, but unfortunately he will always be a victim of people dredging his past up when it all happened several years ago

EXCLUSIVE: Led to believe free agent former Sheffield United midfielder Ravel Morrison is training with Sheffield Wednesday.
He might fit in well over there - looked like a skilful player who just didn't have a clue what to do in a game of football.

If he had signed this season rather than last season for us things may have turned out very differently.

He has a chance there as they may be poor enough to have to trust him and throw him in. They are nearly dead, so no risk or pressure for him at all.

Obvious question is how match-fit is he?

No idea of the issues in the player's head, if any, but confident at this stage of his career he's largely a waste of time and effort at this level.

Says it all when people like Nolan and Carroll took him under their wing, got his confidence up, he played a blinder and was buzzing, then failed to turn up for training for 2 weeks with no reason given, then returned as if he'd done nothing wrong.

Has another last chance, this time with Derby County.

Scores in his debut for Derby. Maybe he is coming good?

Those penalty decisions though 🙄
Great strike by Ravel. You have to feel for him a little, it seems he has gone through a lot in his past and seem to recall an ex-teammate (maybe Rio Ferdinand) saying he had a lot of baggage. Some players like all of us in life are dealt a tougher hand to play with, but maybe him being a high level sportsman it will impact a lot more than being a tradie for example. And yes, shocking decisions by the officials!!

That what's I thought as well

Where's VAR when you need it? ;)
"The foul appeared to be outside the box and the referee appeared to be some way away from the play, Peter Walton, what do you make of that?". "Well as you can see the foul is fairly near to the area so to my mind that's enough for the on field referee in this instance to make an educated guess as to where the contact took place so to my mind that's a penalty kick". "Thank you Peter".

Does my head in the Ravel Morrison saga. Commentators/ pundits absolutely rave about him.

He’s 28 and had 8/9 clubs probably played less than 100 competitive games.

How many players were good when they were young? I bet half of us on here fancied ourselves as a footballer from 8-16

He's started 60 league games in his career.
He made a total of 3 sub appearances for Man Utd.

Can you imagine the ball-ache it would be to manage him? No wonder he gets moved on regularly

A shame as he has the talent. A pity his attitude and lifestyle don't allow him to make the most of it. Reminds me in some ways of Jose Baxter - doesn't realise what they've got until it's gone

Morrison has played about 150 league games in 13 years.

Why the fuck is this man still being paid to play professional football?
