Has anyone noticed that the Pork have stopped referring to us as the blunts after we smashed 4 past them at the bucket of rust.

They have also stopped using the term MASSIVE now they realise that the only thing, that they have, that is of colossal proportions is their debt.

Good Times, though it is a shame so many are unable to see that.

UTB. :)

Purely coincidental mate …….. your ears must have water in them from the shower ;)

The deluded, arrogant scum still think they're a MASSIVE Club and that they deserve to be playing in the Champions League …… o_O:rolleyes:

You cannot educate pork my friend !!:D;)

UTB & FTP

They still think they are both massive and better than us, but they have had to swallow their words. :D

Though they should choke on them...

i imagine that staged payments for players is not so much to piss off the selling club but is some of the 'smoke and mirrors' to avoid paying as much tax on it.
If 12 million quid appeared on United'd accounts this year it may equal profit and a tax bill, 3 lots of 4m over the years is much more easily consumed by 'switching the lights on', so it's in the selling club's interest to get payments staged.

Nothing to do with avoiding tax (transfer income comes under profit/loss on disposal of assets in the accounts) and everything to do with cashflow.

United will recognise a £11.5m (plus whatever of the variables is deemed almost certain to happen) profit on selling Brooks in the 18/19 trading year for given we paid nothing for him.

That's why I didn't declare it as a fact, I'm assuming you know a lot more about this than I care to however i find it strange you declare a profit on anything until the cash has been received, as our dealings with *Benfica showed payments can go 'astray'.

Every company has a bad debt provision for things like the Benfica dealings but as English football creditors are protected there's no danger of that happening in the Brooks case.

To be fair, saw loads of Blades on social media doing the same and hammering SUFC for 'lying'.
We also have our fair share of dumb fuckwits, as do most clubs

I think it's born out the younger generation's insatiable appetite for "likes" on all forms of social media.

It makes potentially sensible people into full blown idiots simply to appear as leaders amongst their peers.
