We'll lose Tuesday
Oh right, thanks for the info. I was looking forward to this but think I'll stay at home now, never like to see us lose.
That's the way to do it!I hope not, I have manoeuvred my work diary to work in Sheffield on Tuesday and Leeds on Wednesday. So my employer is paying my travel, my hotel and my evening meal (does anyone know whether Man Frydays do receipts?).
No drive back down the M1 for a change, so hopefully I can go for a post-match pint happy.
We'll lose Tuesday
We'll draw Tuesday
Might as well have the full house
It'd be much better if we could lose Wednesday. We'll lose Tuesday
Well at least it sounds like Done won't be an option so that's a positive.
With laffery on international duty it's almost a dead cert we will be without him Tuesday , done out injured and lavery more than likely out for the season. Who's gong to play LWB? Are we going to stick with 3-5-2? And where's our pace going to come from in attack? I think it'll be a really hard game against a Lions side desperate to get back into the play offs but it's also a must win for us as Hoofball Wanderers are basically guaranteed 3 points. People's opinions and predictions?
Iv'e not been blown away by lafferty....
But we bloody miss him when he's not there.... unsung hero of this season ?
Absolutely. Doesn't have the flare coming forward like Freeman, and is often wasteful on the attack, but one of the strongest full backs in the division.
Yup, Lafferty defensively is not too bad. Done isn`t a wingback. Freeman isn`t a good defender, but is excellent at finding space and timing runs into the box. None of them are particularly good crossers of the ball but coaching and practice may improve that.Absolutely. As Lavery was usually a come off the bench impact player then we have Chapman to replace him who has more than enough pace and trickery to make an impact. I would like to see him again as when he played he was impressiveWith laffery on international duty it's almost a dead cert we will be without him Tuesday , done out injured and lavery more than likely out for the season. Cause he will, he'll have been back in Sheffield late last night or this morning after a 'gruelling' 3 hour journey. So you reckon he will back and fully fit for Tuesday night yeah? I don't think he will
The OP smells of pork
Lafferty will play, it's an absolute certainty! He's only been on an hours flight to and from Belfast, didn't play a minutes football. He should be the freshest of all our team!
Why? He did well v Oldham.
Did he? What did he do well? Their goal came from down his side and I can't recall him getting more than 1 cross in. For me, Done should only be considered as part of a front two, even though he doesn't really score. As a LWB, my view is that he lacks the defensive capabilities required to do that job and he doesn't really perform the wingers requirements for the role either. He was pretty anonymous on Saturday.
Agree I thought that Done was poor on Saturday but the error for the goal was by EEL as the move started when he gave away possession on the right when he should have cleared it.Did he? I don't think I have heard the expression "Flid" since about 1981.![]()
That flight back over the Irish Sea and getting your body back in tune with UK time is a real killer. I always feel lousy after I've done it.Not in starting 11 tonight.
Might be jet lagged from Belfast though !!
