We will either play some really nice stuff (for the whole game this time) and come through with a clean sheet and maybe 2 goals, or scrape through with a late goal in a horribly scrappy affair ... Either way 3 points i reckon

Not to win would be truly depressing. A clean sheet would be nice but it'd winning that counts.

Well before the game the Star it said Robson wanted to give the team a rallying call, i think the phone is still ringing to be honest.

Good start, but then ANOTHER average team found us out and honestly Preston deserved the points. Last ten minutes so much better, shame we couldn't play like that all game.

Bardsley i thought had a decent debut, great strike but just a good save. Armstrong in opinion was MOTM and Cahill was decent. Typical Kilgallon, holding onto players and clearing the ball into nowhere.

As for the FANS well, they have every right to be upset. We pay good money and expect the team to give blood for the cause, but once again calling for Robson's head and booing won't make things better. When we finally got behind them in the second half, the players put in more effort but once a pass went astray the boos rung out again.

The subs at Half Time really bewildered me, Stead and Squinny were excellent. Someone pointed out to me the pace of Shelton and Webber would cause them problems.

We clearly need a new midfield, although Stretch was great there today. we need a confidence booster, i thought today was a perfect example to do that but maybe a win at Leicester followed by a win with passion at Hull.

Still, look forward to the next game

I thought that it was the worst we'd started a game this season.
We've been having a good 10mins and then falling apart.
Today we started average then got no better till 20 mins from the end.
Someone again at half time said we should take 'lazy' beattie off as he was doing nothing.
How lazy is a player who 10 mins from the end runs 90 yards to defend a breakaway attack?
Steads substitution was a bad move, especially as Gillespie wasn't taking the corners today.
Shelton should start the next game for def IMO
less hoofball and more passing please as well.
End of, i'm not really in the mood to go into if and when Robson should go.

Crap game again. We didn't deserve the draw.

Good 20 minutes at the start again but lost it after we didn't get any rewards for it. The goal was poor, it shouldn't be getting through our defence. As for Stead going off, he didn't do much today, admittedly they were going through him and must have won about 5 or 6 free kicks within 20 minutes but wasn't able to create as much.
Nobody seemed to be challenging for the corners when they go near the keeper.
Stonewall penalty for the first one, i was direct in line he stuck his arm out to stop it going past him. The second one seemed the same, but it was the other end of the ground so didn't have the view of the linesman!
