Strange game……and went as I thought it would go….Preston’s tactics seemed to be to play for a 0-0.
Don’t think they showed much effort or ambition to try to score….in many ways they were one of the weakest sides we’ve played this season.

Regards us…..performance was typical of many of our performances.
Yes we were the better team and deserved to win….1st half we were good but 2nd half once we scored we stayed in 2nd gear.
After Cannon came on as sub we hardly had any attack with conviction as we seemed to settle for the 1-0 win.

A win is a win so can’t complain….and to be fair it was quite an easy win…..we didn’t need to raise our game.

Thought our best player was Peck….he’s really asserted himself as a 1st teamer. One of the big success stories of the season.
Also thought Burrows had a busy and decent game…..however for some reason Preston didn’t seem bothered to mark him so Burrows was always in plenty of space.

It’s not been mentioned but did anyone see Ched Evans at the end of the match.

He looked ip at the Kop and gave the fans a round of applause, then he tapped his heart a few times.
Suppose it was his way of showing his appreciation towards the fans who supported him.

Yes I saw that. Obvious he still thinks a lot about us, we always supported him. I see they still have Leeds to play. With their Blades contingent I hope they do their best to get something from that one and try and help us out. They have some decent players to be fair.

Hecky has improved them. Some good post season business and he'll have them challenging for the playoffs.

Can we please all agree that wilder is not the man to take us forward … so so so so negative all the time
