Given what we now know, still don’t know and allowing for one (maybe two) that look nailed on, I thought it would be fun to predict the number of signings and who they will be. Closest gets to be known as the ITKing

My prediction as follows:-

Appreciate we may have had a similar thread earlier in the summer but there were a lot more guff rumours then.

My worry is all these players baring 1 seem to be top end Championship players not Premier League, are we building a team that might stay up but more likely will get us in contention should we go down?

Don't get me wrong add all these players to we have now and I think we would be on for promotion again but we are after survival in the league above.

I think its fair to say we have been linked with all these players, some more strongly but once court case is settled I would hope we would be going for better quality players.

Agree with 8 as we need strength in depth for injuries, suspensions and loss of form. Don't think we'll sign both McNair and Lenighan as they are the same type of player. Although we haven't been linked with one yet I hope we sign someone who can play LCB as cover for JOC a key area that needs quality back up should Jack get injured

We need at least four others who know the PL game and can bring that experience into the club. Freeman might be a bonus, as long as he can bring better returns in the Duffy position, assuming Wilder will actually play 3-4-1-2 next season. And really, we should have signed Freeman three/four years ago.

Quite right. So it should be. There should be no question of either/or. They are totally different strikers. Get these two and Hendo and we won’t be in a relegation struggle. They’ll pay for themselves in the first season and a great deal more.
