Not sure how they were lucky. They had a penalty shout just before half time that was definitely in the 'seen them given' basket.

They had a ball across the face of our goal which, with a slightly better touch would have been a goal.

What did we do? Don't remember their keeper making a save that a school kid wouldn't.

Egan a shocking effort when all the time in the world and that was about it.

Far too many players off their game and absolutely no urgency from the first minute.

Even irritating basics; why when we play the ball across defence to build the attack do we do often pass to where they are standing or even behind them? Surely you pass in front of them so they can take the ball in their stride with momentum. Don't know why it does but it annoys me.

Not a chance, don't know what game you were watching
They could have easly had a penalty in first half. They also missed a open net when it his belly he should have scored. We’ve rode our luck a bit too tonight. They deserved that win let’s not start been Al piggish and say they didn’t It’s not end of world we move on simple as that

Already said, happy to move on, we're still going up but, nah, that was a game Blades deserved to win despite it not being our best performance, Rotherham were awful.

They weren't lucky at all. We hardly created anything and we once again had no plan to break down a side that sat in. It's a real concern how often we've seen that sort of performance in the last 2 months.

These games have shown up the huge MGW sized hole in the squad. He was the first one to fill the Duffy sized hole

We should’ve been bang up for it tonight, what a brilliant opportunity to go into the WC break cementing ourselves at the top with games against Rotherham and Cardiff.

Really though, the reality is we’ve gotten away with performances like that this season (Swansea, Luton, Bristol City, Preston ish). I think the last 10 games has begun to show realistically where we’re at. Need fresh faces back ASAP.

Ndiaye is one of the best players we’ve had in a generation yet our manager decides to constantly drop him in centre midfield out of the way. Thats the problem. He reckons Sharp lumbering about up front is more likely to get us back in the game.

Inspired management.

Forums are for celebrating and praising and also critiquing. If you can’t handle it, stay in bed.
You said the Burnley result didn't matter. I explained exactly why it meant more to beat Burnley than Rotherham, but you decided not to counter that view

Injuries have caught up with us. They really looked tired tonight. Likes of Egan and Norwood having no rest looked shot. We've lacked the ability to rest players and it has caught up with us. Rotherham looked stronger and fitter. Also quicker. Wanted it more and won all the second balls. Could have got a draw out of it, but we probably were due one to go against us.

I don't think we're a top two team. I didn't think so at the start of the season. All fit we could be pushing for autos but that's so far away at the moment.

What really pisses me off is having to come on here and see the trolls who appear after every game we don't win and then suggest we need a new manager. I wish they'd just fuck off an support Man City because that's the only team which is likely to make them happy by winning almost every game.

I said it MEANS fuck all now. It mattered because we got the 3points against a title rival, but that means fuck all if we can’t beat Rotherham in the very next game and continue pressuring them with the same starting 11 given we are still 3 points behind them. Deflating, missed opportunity to make a real stamp of authority on this league.

Aaaaaahhh but the injuries … the injuries…

It’s the injuries fault that PH is tactically inept

It’s the injuries fault that our style of football is starting to deteriorate into Wilderball Lite and Pulis ball mark 2.

It’s the injuries that mean 80% of the time we play woeful football.

The injuries… the injuries…
