Can a loan clause stating that a player 'must start if fit' actually exist? How can that work when managers often make tactical changes? I'd have thought it would be easily avoided by saying that the player wasn't fully fit.

I believe it’s normally less and “obligation to play” and more of a “penalty for not playing”

For example: United may be oligated to pay his full wages, unless he’s playing, in which case they pay half. (Or some similar arrangement)

They've had a lot of corners but we’ve had a few chances, mostly created down the right by Rak-Sakyi.

The referee is absolutely terrible as expected, game been real stop-start.

If the reported deal that gives JRS guaranteed minutes is true it may not give the player the type of incentive to shine.
Of course there are no absolutes, but form should be the only criteria by which a player gets into the side.
