Exactly. And then straight away a £1m loan fee gets slapped on his head to stop him joining the clubs in lg1 which he wants to join

No coincidence that clubs are pushing for a permanent now. If agent and player think we are stunting his development then he’ll want to leave
Mark Rankine the agent thought the same about Jordan Slew and forced a move to Blackburn. Slew then got a nice house and nice car (according to a relative of his who I spoke to some years ago) but didnt have much of a football careerNo coincidence that clubs are pushing for a permanent now. Prince will elude to how he backed club as second highest spenders int PL even though his money was spunkiest up wall and maybe just maybe he has a point
Although it's nice to know we have a competent owner, but I don't think that his competency is the crucial issue. What concerns me is whether he has any possible intentions, and whether these intentions may so far be opaque. As has been mentioned elsewhere, we've had two consecutive seasons where our summer transfer activity has barely raised expectations of something possible happening. We were relegated with a sizeable parachute payment that was intended to provide better quality recruitment, yet here we are, the season has begun, we've sold our first choice goalkeeper, we've brought in a defender on loan from Liverpool, there have been various mentions of players we might be interested in, either on loan or as permanent signings.Except there's nothing in the accounts to prove that, and no-one else was in for us, so it's either McCabe and his skint ALK mates who won't even spend what little they do have, or the Prince, who doesn't have a lot but isn't tight and is a competent businessman.
People act like it was Prince Abdullah vs Sheikh Mansour.
Identifying as an Aadvark.Where's Sam Hashimi when you need him?!
Allegedly the Ramsdale fee has covered what was owed to his previous club and one of the installments on Berge. The next one due is apparently for Brewster, hence why they will listen to offers for him, should £10m+ come in, this will go along way to paying off what is owed to Liverpool, that just leaves the two Derby lads, hence again why they would prefer a perm move for Lowe and not a loan.It was the clubs money…not his.
He had none to put up, he’s borrowed the lot and fees are to be paid in instalments. Hence no spending now just selling.

What a depressing reality if this is all trueAllegedly the Ramsdale fee has covered what was owed to his previous club and one of the installments on Berge. The owner does not have the wealth required to single handedly run a football club in the English Championship or above and never has had, hence this total bollox idea of a self financing football club. Didn't McCabe try that one?

That appears to suggest Arsenal paid the fee in one go. Is that the case?
I'm guessing the wages for our 'star' players are crippling us as well as having to pay a huge chunk of the prem money to buy back the ground. Not seen the figures but you king of get the feeling it will all ultimately end up with administration
How was it "his" money? The money was earn't through promotion he only used money Wilder had earnt for the club. He then made sure there was a profit for himself after getting the club for £5mil.Prince will elude to how he backed club as second highest spenders int PL even though his money was spunkiest up wall and maybe just maybe he has a point
When you buy a business you acquire its assets and its liabilities they become yours. If we continue on this current downturn and end up deep in debt will you say it’s the clubs debt not the owners? How was it "his" money?
