25, 26 in May.

12th birthday was the same night as the play-off semi against Forest. I'd been to the odd game as a kid but I was never really bothered. Watched that game on telly and I was hooked.

Anyone worked out the average yet?

Should BOSS ever flounce it will go down by about 5 years!

It keeps changing.

As I said earlier, the younger ones are only just getting out of bed managing to snatch five minutes from their vital studies/jobs to log on and vote ;)

I see the poll is balancing out now. I'm with the "getting their sorry arses out of bed" opinion's side.

Yeah, but we're talking age not how many members!

54 last month. Shit - it only seems like a couple of years ago I was watching Wayne Quinn and a few years before that Ted Helmsley and Trevor Hockey!

Do they still do that Masters football 5 a side thing? I remember seeing that a few years ago, and remembering the "veterans" as young players.

Hi, my first post on here although I've been following the various forums for the last 6 or so years. I have supported the Blades since I was 8 or 9 for the last 55 years. You can probably guess my age from that! On a slightly different topic I'm sure some of the older members will remember with affection the formation of old Social Club in the Cricket Pavilion before the South Stand was built. I spent many happy hours in the Bier Kellar drinking (was it Watneys beer?) and socialising with fellow Blades, be good to hear from any that remember those days!

Clearly in the category referred to as mature. Perhaps not vintage but been around enough to have watched Keith Eddy, Sabella, the great Senor Currie, the always impressive Alan Woodward, the little genius known as Colin Morris, Peter Withe, the filthy but necessary Hockey, the oh so poor Vinnie Jones, and a succession of players who saw this club as the final chance to take a decent wage. We've also had managers who were clearly ill-equipped to recruit the quality of player that could bring us relative success. To become a Premiership team and earn the right to remain there would be some achievement, well a chap can dream?

I think Unitedites love to see a team that knows how to play and does so whenever possible. We currently have a managerial team who appear more than capable, who have recruited players (with a few exceptions) who are comfortable on the ball, and can produce the football we all love to watch. Of course it's work in progress, but we've done well so far this season, and with our pursuit of promotion we've played some great football at times. One of the best seasons I can recall for many a year, long may it continue, UTB!

I didn't realise this was an OAP's forum. Wondered what that disclosure was at the registration page :p

29 years of age, been a blade since before I can remember. Think my first game was when I was roughly 4 or 5. Don't really remember our first premier league season... unfortunately remember all of our second attempt & can remember more relegations than promotions (which will hopefully soon change!).

UTB
