Please batter Wrexham

Its a nice story and 2 sound famous people buying them is great for the club and the town. However, the fans seem to be getting a bit cocky and nows the time to being batter them with a demolition at BDTL. Then once theyve fucked off back to Wrexham they can get the promotion that the movie stars have bankrolled. Good luck to them. Will be good to see our game on Disney+. And will be even better seeing a full BDTL midweek under the lights v spurs. Its got a fa cup classic with extra time written all over it.

not that bothered about them they seem ok and as with most things once they get out of the league well see what they bring oncee the novelty wears off ill tell you one thing though that cunt with the marty feldman eyes called bootlegger can fuck off

Especially watching us boss your midfield?

To be fair - you haven't been the first , but we usually handle any aerial bombardment quite well. We didn't on Sunday
A clubs fans second in the Championship shouldn't be making excuses like 'ploughed field' etc against a National league side whose put 3 past them.

Quite right and I'm not sure our very good pitch will be much of an advantage. We might pass it a bit better but so will you. what the Blades really need to do is play better.

Having seen 6 seasons of it quite recetly, you look like you'd do Ok in League 1 to me

I didn't really listen the other day. Was mclehenny at the philadelphia eagles game instead? He seems to be the one who is much more emotionally invested in the whole thing from the series. Reynolds seems to just sidle up, be sarky, sign a cheque and fuck off.
Ironically Reynolds was mentioned 500 times less during the game at the weekend than David Johnson was in the play off 2nd leg last season.

When I watched the "welcome to Wrexham" documentary they do have some things in common with us and that is "almost" having success.

SPOILER ALERT

They were 2nd in the league last season but big underdogs to finish top. In their final home game they then beat league leaders Stockport 3-0 to raise everyones hopes.
In their last match they needed to beat Dagenham and had to hope that Stockport lost.
No happy ending as Stockport did win and a downhearted Wrexham lost 3-0 to Dagenham.

So into the play-offs at home to Grimsby. A brilliant match that they lost 5-4.

Also last season they reached the non league cup final at Wembley.
Most of the fans in the stadium were Wrexham fans but they were losing 1-0, didn't even celebrate a goal.
Then deep into injury time the miracle happened when Wrexham scored an equaliser.
The owners with their entourage all went mad celebrating the goal BUT the linesman had their flag up and it was disallowed for offside.
They ended up losing the final 1-0.

This season they have won almost every match but by some sort of bad luck, there's also another team (Notts County) that have also won nearly every match.
Only ONE team can win auto promotion, it will be a real sickener for the club that finishes 2nd and ends up in the play-offs again.

I would think this season is also being filmed, so a 2nd series of the highly successful documentary is released next year.
You can just imagine Wrexham finishing 2nd, having to go through the play-offs again, playing in the final and having plenty of bad luck losing 3-2.

When fans (like at Sheff Utd) have experiences of glorious defeat and almost this and almost that....then a negative outlook can cloud a club.

Note: For any Wrexham fans who don't know, Sheff Utd have been in 8 play-offs and lost the lot. We've been in 4 play-off finals, lost the lot, not even scoring a single goal. We've failed to win our last 7 FA cup semi finals and lost both our 2 league cup semi-finals.
Great post except its nine defeats - Bristol City, Crystal Palace, Sunderland, Wolves, Burnley, Huddersfield, (Fucking) Yoevil, Swindon, Forest.

I don't blame you for blanking at least one of those shit shows out BTW

Don't mind it mi sen. I didn't know McElhenney until recently but his show is absolutely brilliant.

That's the Bramall Lane stand upper and lower tier.
The lower tier is quite a shallow rake so not the greatest view, it's OK I suppose.
Where as the upper tier is a very steep rake and offers the best view in the whole ground.
In the central area lower section you almost feel like you can lean forward and touch the cross bar, it must be one of the best views in football.

Attached to the Bramall Lane upper tier is the corner stand and it holds another 2,000 seats.
So with segregation in place the ground is designed where we can give you probably anther 1,219 tickets bringing overall allocation to 6K.
However the Safety Committee are very twitchy these days and like to keep areas well below capacity, so you've done well to get 4782.

Thanks for the info.
4782 is an excellent allocation for any team by any standard. Premiership teams would be happy with that.
I'm confident that our season ticket holders will snap them up very quickly. Those who don't go away etc passing them to friends and family such is the demand. They won't reach sale for members.
I'm sure our club will make enquiries to Bramall Lane for more. It is what it is though.
As seen at Coventry, our fans bought hospitality seats after selling the 4500, and also sat impeccably in the home stands
Thankfully its live on ITV, with ESPN expected to follow suit.
ESPN coincidentally had 1 million viewers for our game on Sunday. The BBC 4.5 m
Both clubs benefiting from the coverage

Bit weird to hope someone fails just because someone else likes them. The BBC loved us in our first Premier League season under Wilder.

Hardly comparable. We were better than sex. Shearer and Wright creaming themselves about our overlapping centre backs.

I’ve honestly no idea who they are. Actors apparently, and American. Be glad when Wrexham have fucked off back to non league obscurity.

Don't know owt about them (owners). Don't mind Wrexham, good luck to em, apart from when we play them. I want us to beat them but only as much I as I want us to beat anyone - apart from the pigs, that's just pure astronomical want. I can't for the life of me understand this sudden bitter rivalry we've developed with them - or for them. It's just all a bit Billy Big-Bollocks if you ask me.

American and Canadian actors or not, they seem to have really engaged with the club and the community and actually have some ambition. When was the last time we had owners that had those qualities?

For anyone wondering, I'd save yourself the trouble of looking it up.

I despise Americans the saviours of the world ..................................not
I used to think that of the American people too, thought they were loud, obnoxious erroneous fucking turds. However to my surprise after moving here I have met but a handful of these individuals over the past 15 years. The majority are extremely thoughtful and friendly people and not once have I ever felt unwelcome here.

Now the US govt, thats another fucking story those corrupt motherfuckers need to be extricated with blunt instruments!

Will be interesting to see what team Hecky puts out no Jebbison and probably Macatee so Illy and Sander to start? If they do and we want it enough we will blow them away

Spot on mate .Time to put the Welsh bastards in their place . I like Wales really ,the only thing thats wrong with it is it's full of Welsh twats .
Funny, I was completely indifferent to all things Welsh, but a few gobby gobshites and your perception changes

We've been given

BL1 – Lower Tier – (Left Corner)
BL2 – Lower Tier – (Behind Goal)
BL3 – Lower Tier – (Behind Goal)
BL4 – Lower Tier – (Right Corner)
BU1 – Upper Tier – (Left Corner)
BU2 – Upper Tier – (Central)
BU3 – Upper Tier – (Central)

How many is that about? 4800 or more?
Try for the upper tier. Lower tier is absolutely terrible view.
Upper tier best view in the ground.

I didn't go but a mate went on official away coach. Apparently they arrived but they wouldn't let them off the coach until the "TV cameras are ready"

Not sure if that was BBC, Disney+ or both. I assume Disney

Does that alecart who used to be on Twitter still follow Wrexham, he was more famous than the owners for me his tweets were legendary. Cant recall his name now.

I've nothing against Wrexham. It's a great story.
The team is well above non-league standard - where did they get their players from, and how much are they paying them? Isn't there a salary cap for National League players? I remember Boston United fell foul of this some years ago after they were promoted to League 2. They were penalised and had to drop down two divisions.

Quite a few of our players have been brought in from leagues 1 and 2, no doubt on higher than average wages for the division.
lucrative sponsorship deals with TikTok, Expedia and Aviation as well as every game selling out helps with the wage bill.
The owners will not have had to put much in to date. It’s pretty much paying for itself.
There is no salary cap

It's very similar to Salford City when they were in non league.

We will play a completely full strength side with Berge and Nidaye free of the stress of yesterday. Berge won’t be pulled out of the match at the last minute like at the racecourse. Be prepared for a totally different game and JLT may have a few surprises for you 😂
