Plans to generate an atmosphere at an empty lane?

Full respect to those Ultras groups and their dedication. I agree with them generally. Football without fans is shit. It would be pointless and unsustainable and I think the acuteness of this realisation will strengthen football's relationship with fans in the future. I think we all realise this season is fucked, but it's not pointless and simply completing it in a timely manner at this stage is vital and would be a victory. If the only way they'll allow this is in empty stadiums, then we as fans just need to swallow it and put ourselves aside for a little while, for the greater good.

If the club really cared about atmosphere, they would invest in remote controlled catapults to randomly launch bags of urine, flares and coins at the away end throughout the game.

I’d happily supply some wee and 1p coins.

He might make a lot of questionable musical choices, but I think he deliberately goes on holiday mid season at least once a year to remind people of the state of those poised to step in, all of whom have been without exception absolutely appalling.

Seem to recall one of the stand ins hitting back on Twitter after receiving numerous appraisals about his performance.

Tbf the worst thing about one of them was the ill fitting suit that he’d clearly had to hire at short notice that morning.

Was some lad telling Erling Haaland to go fuck his own grandmother not blue enough for you?!

Saves faffing about with getting commentators though, just have a clip of Martin Tyler saying "apologies if you overheard any bad language there" and play it on a loop while all the players are telling the referee to fuck off.

Atmosphere? He loves one.

I hope this doesn't give some UEFA pillock an idea to normalise this sort of setup and erode the importance of spectating fans.

Ludicrous as a football without fans future would appear now, we are talking about decision making, Commercial people who still think that VAR is a good idea.

Not sure players would want to see close up video feeds of fans getting pissed off when their team loses.

Wednesday would be the sort of club to adopt this sort of thing long term. Plus Chansiri can turn the video feed off from any fans that are complaining.

I'm a little worried about the cardboard cut outs, you see the old chap in the gangway seat next to me only has one leg, and he sits in the gangway seat because he suffers from incontinence and sitting there makes it easier for him when he gets over excited and has to make his run for the toilet
But I have heard on the grape vine that there has been an accident concerning his artificial limb which he apparently keeps in the garage when at home, his wife has inadvertently reversed her car over it and it is at present awaiting repaires.
Now my question is, as they may well now have to lean his one legged cut out against mine will the club be providing a card board cut out steward for in case of emergencies.

Apprehensively your I.P Freely …...

You know we wouldn't need that many fans close by the ground to be heard, I always remember as a kid when I couldn't get to the game listening on the radio whilst playing football on Ann's Grove field and we could always hear the chanting when it got going.

Social distancing circles all the way round the ground, parties in the houses around it (all keeping to social distancing of course) and plenty of booze could make a lot of noise the lads could hear 🙄

Don't forget the balloons ! ;) Especially for the FA Cup ;)

Might be the cheaper option Vs Cardboard cutouts, everyone gets their face printed on a balloon, and they're tied to the seats.

They'll bob around a bit and if your balloon comes loose and ends up on the pitch you get a banning order.

Has anyone still got the Blades boot boys CD? Club can play that for 90 minutes.

Or Tom Hark on the Gary Sinclair CD. I've got it int loft

Won't add to the atmosphere but I'd love to see the players and staff all link arms before the kick-off and sing the GCB for us as we can't be there to do it. Might not make a difference to the result but it would mean a lot to us, surely?
UTB
That would probably make me cry to be honest.

I'm arranging a few coaches for fans to turn up outside the grounds to sing GCB before each half.

£100pp packages available, includes complimentary can of your choice and ham/cheese sandwiches.
Will there be a toilet on board?
